By the time Meg saw Tybalt emerge from the crowd, one of the wardrobe mistresses was helping her out of her costume. She waved at him.

*He smiled a little, looking around the chaotic room uncomfortably.*

**AS TYBALT**
"No no, take your time," *he said, feeling very out of place just standing amidst all the bustle.*

By now she was buttoning up the front of a small, frilly tutu dress.
"You're an absolute pussycat for waiting- oh, that works as a pun, doesn't it? Goodness!" Meg chattered obliviously as she pulled off her wig cap. "I hope you won't mind too terribly coming up to the dormitory so I can fetch my ribbon, do you, Tybalt dear?"

"No, no that's fine..."
*He frowned an irritated look on his face.*
"And If you wouldn't mind- don't make cat puns. Please. It gets old."

**LATER THAT WEEK, SOMETIME AFTER ALEXEI AND MEG MET**
*Alexei had managed to get someone to let him backstage, after sitting in the cheap seats for the entire performance looking somewhat ridiculous with his sister's opera glasses. He could have teleported but somehow that felt like cheating.*
*Unable to pick flowers that coordinated properly, and knowing that certain flowers meant certain things that he didn't understand but that most girls read into, he had frustratedly purchased one single daisy and was waiting, holding it. And the opera glasses.*

Meg was walking toward the common dressing room with the others, when, just like when Tybalt visited, she saw that she had a guest and started waving her hands for him to come over.

*He beamed brightly when she caught sight of him and he her, and made his way through the crowd to get to her. When he did, he merely said,*
"Hi."

"Hi," said Meg, beaming.

"I brought you..." *He informed her excitedly, drawing the thign out from behind his neck and then frowning because it was looking somewhat less perky than it had been when he'd purchased it, and also because everyone seemed to have brought for the people they were visiting actual bouquets.* "... a flower."

"Someone's been passing herself around," one of the other ballet girls whispered, causing the rest of them to giggle.
Meg shot them a glare before turning back to take the flower.
"Oh, it's a marguerite!" she whispered delightedly. "Oh, Alexei, you didn't have to..."

"Well... I wanted to." *He said, going back to being happy because she appeared to be pleased with it. He hadn't actually thought about the fact that it was the flower that bore her name, because his internal dialogue tended to run in German or Hungarian, but now thinking about it, it was excessively charming that the flower did bear her name. He decided that he liked daises rather better than he had this morning.*

She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
"It's my day off tomorrow," she hinted coyly, "so I don't have to go to bed so soon, if someone would like to kidnap me..."
