"Search for. Is this where your collection came from, or was that brought from elsewhere?" *Julian seemed genuinely curious, having no difficulty in staying afloat.*
"What do you do with your time here when you are alone?"

"Oh!"
It swam around Julian again and went under, coming up under the man's stomach and raising him up on its back with a trilled laugh.
"Find dead-faces all over. Some in dark-water, some in slimy tunnels, some in piles and piles and piles of dead-face walls."
As to the second question, it went a bit quiet, swimming around lazily with Julian on its back.

*Julian supposed it made sense that there would be plenty of dead men in the cellars. He looked thoughtful.*
"Why do you collect them? What do you like about them?"

"Care care Eriks is shark's first care, is very kind and care f' shark, play, swim, make out-of-cage."
And obviously, skulls looked like Erik and Erik looked like death.
"Shark likes collecting things."

"Dead-faces and red, correct?"
*Julian's eyes wandered again as he slipped briefly under, only to reemerge soon after.*

"Yes!" it said, cheerfully, and dove down as well.
When they were both up again, it grinned toothily at the man.
"Pretty Care care can swim under long long time!"

*Julian tilted his head, as if he didn't quite understand.*
"I suppose so. I'm not completely convinced that I need to breathe to survive. But I don't see any reason to test the theory."
*He smiled, as if something amused him unexpectedly.*

Izame nodded as if it understood and circled the man again, clicking idly above and below the water, curious that the shark senses in its new skin didn't pick up on Julian very well.

*With the hint of an odd smile, Julian's head slipped beneath the water, and no bubbles emerged.*

The creature trilled excitedly and followed, tucking its arms against its sides and nosing down into the water, looking around for the pretty man with its unblinking eyes, they slight glow of them giving it away in the dark depths.

*Beneath the dark water's surface, Julian hand found the sharkman, slipping gracefully down the length of him.*

It smiled and turned with the hand to find the man and nuzzle to him under the water before turning again giving a powerful stroke of its tail and shooting off into the dark, finding a place to settle for hide-and-seek.

*The water remained perfectly still for some time, but unexpectedly, Julian's hand was against the creature's skin once more.*

Izame jumped a bit under the water and trilled, whirling around with a push of tail and webbed hands to find Julian--it was fun to play with him, because the creature couldn't tell where he was.
It grinned and shot between the man's legs pushing up in the water until Julian broke the surface, keeping itself mostly submerged save for the arch of its back and dorsal fin.

*Julian was surprised by the motion and tried to steady himself atop its body. The water on him seemed to roll away quickly, and even though he was still wet, he seemed drier than he should be. He stroke Izame's back gently.*
"If you keep that up, I shall never know my limits concerning breath."
