**NEW DAY**
Itsuki pressed his hand in to his pockets as he made his way though one of the seemingly hundreds of Parks in Paris. There was a couple days before the winter break, everything was finished, tests, essays, etc. So he decided to take a day off and take a walk, it was chilly outside, but not yet snowing, he had his best sweater on, and his hair was done nicely.
He was the student ambassador for a school that no muggle knew existed after all, he had to look nice.
Inhaling deeply he ran a hand through the side of his hair and continued walking.

Hard as it might be for many teenagers to believe, Hanako would have loved to be at her school right now. At least there she knew where she could go to get away from everything, and who to turn to for support. There wasn't much there, but at least a small feeling of security was better than just being dropped down into the middle of a city like this, especially for her.
Though it hadn't been exactly cold, she took the first opportunity in the year to bundle up, her hands in mittens and a knit cap pulled just low enough that she could still see. Cowering slightly on a park bench, she looked around, trying to admire the scenery, at least.
It was times like these when you really needed a good book.

At first Itsuki hadn't noticed the girl sitting on the bench, his mind was a million miles away, it'd been a million years since he'd last had a traditional Japanese meal, and those kinds of restaurants were hard to find in Paris.
He'd walked by her at first, stopping a few feet away and turning back, she'd been the first person he'd seen in the park all day and he wasn't about to be rude.
"Good Afternoon miss" he bowed his head in greeting.

When she was with Lilly, Hanako was often treated to such nice fare. It was her friend's specialty, and actually she'd have to ask for it when she got back. Whenever that would be.
Not oblivious to the world, she did notice the boy walking by, but, as usual, kept entirely silent in hopes that he might leave her be. She wasn't good with talking to people. So, when he actually stopped and turned back, she was startled, mittened hand reflexively going to the right side of her face. A moment later, seeing that there was nowhere to run in such a wide open park, she bowed back from the waist, quickly.
"H-hello..."

Glad to see someone else with his own upbringing he grinned "Nice day isn't it? Bit chilly, but it's going to get colder, how are you doing?"

Oh, dear, now he was actually trying to engage in conversation! Though not a hikikomori, Hanako had serious problems about conversation related, probably understandably, to the reason she went to a special school. She tried to sort of withdraw into her overcoat.
"I'm...I'mdoingalright." She wasn't, really, as if that wasn't clear from her tone. As nice as she'd heard Paris was, she didn't want to explore it on her own and without warning.

Itsuki leaned back slightly, he'd seen enough people lost and confused in Paris to know one that knew where she was, but didn't want to be there. "You don't seem all right, but that's not for me to pry, I am Kisaragi Itsuki, you?"

Realizing that she wasn't going to get out of this that easily, Hanako tried to speak more freely, sitting up and watching him with one perpetually startled and hurt-looking eye. "Ikezawa Hanako," she introduced herself meekly.

"Well it is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Ikezawa, and if I may, can I assume this is your first time in Paris?"

She nodded.
"I have to be at class, though. ...In Japan." Her apologetic expression was meant to suggest that he might know the reason she was here instead.

And there it was, Itsuki chuckled "You have no idea how you got here do you?"

Hanako shook her head, rather vigorously.
A moment later, she sneezed, and hurriedly looked down again. Hopefully, she wouldn't catch a cold while she was here.

If possible, Hanako's one visible eye got even wider. She cast furtive glances about, trying to see if somebody was playing a prank on her. It was possible.
Apparently, though, he was serious, and she sighed quietly. "Then...how do I get back?" She spoke so softly it was almost hard to hear her.

He took a step closer, glad he had stopped to talk to the girl "You're very lucky" he smiled "Japan is still in the modern day, although even I can't be sure how long that will last."
