*Nessa dressed her little daughter in an adorable pink dress with white lace, and brushed her dark hair before tying a pink ribbon into a bow in it. Then she brought Amala with her to the lovely park, to let her play with the other children.*
"Hi Amala! Momma is going to introduce you to the other babies. You'll make a lot of new friends today. And after that, we'll go to town and go shopping, visit a café where you can have ice cream. And then we can top the day by visiting Daddy!"

Amala clapped her hands, she had grown quite a bit, but still not as fast as normal elven children. She looked up at her Mommy and smiled happily.
The prospect of meeting new people "Mmmm..." she mumbled and played with a little tuft of her hair.

*Nessa carried Amala and placed her in the little child transporter she had gotten from Leetah. She walked over to the park. It was a beautiful green area with flowers, a sandbox, and anything that could attempt a child to play there. An elf soldier guarded the area, to keep the children safe. Nessa nodded to him as she went into the park and placed Amala in the sandbox, where the other children at her age were.*

Amala looked around at the other kids and grinned, a couple grinned back and she waved at a little girl who was building a sand castle "Me hep?" She said softly and the little girl nodded. She clapped a bit and crawled over to where she was and began digging for wet sand.
She looked back at her mom and gave a big smile as she poured the sand in the bucket. The other little girl showed her where she thought it should go and Amala smiled and poured a perfect cylinder of a tower and clapped. The other little girl was a bit older than Amala began drawing in the sand of the towers, Amala watched in amazement.

*Nessa smiled proudly at Amala.*
"Good girl! You are so clever!"
*Her voice was filled with love as she spoke. And also motherly pride. She did not care about the other mothers giving her strange looks.*
"Tell me," *one of the elf mothers said to Nessa.* "Don't you feel ashamed to have a child outside matrimony?"
*The other mothers giggled. Nessa looked at the mothers for a moment. A devilish glimpse appeared in her eyes. She would not tolerate any attacks against her daughter.*
"No, as a matter of fact I don't. I would feel much more ashamed if I married a man I don't love just because I am expecting his child!"
*Waterlily blushed deeply, and the other mothers became silent. That was exactly what Waterlily had done, just to save face. Waterlily picked up her child and disappeared, and Nessa turned her attention to Amala again.*
"I don't care what they say about me. But NOBODY is allowed to pick on you, my dear."

Amala looked at her mommy and furrowed her little eyebrows in concentration, as if she knew something far, far beyond her years.
But she turned back to the little girl she was playing with, but continued to look back to her mother as she played, as if trying to tell her, that it was okay.

*Nessa sat down beside the mother of the other little girl with a smile. This mother had not been a part of Waterlily's gang, but sent Waterlily a disapproving look as she started to mock Nessa. The two mothers sat and spoke about their babies as they watched them play. The mother's name was Rainfall, and the daughter's name was Snowflake. The mothers smiled lovingly to their babies as they watched them play.*

Amala looked at the other little girl "You Snofake?" The little girl nodded with a smile.
"You Mala?"
Amala smiled with a giggle and began trying to draw on the castle like Snowflake had. She wasn't as great as the other girl, but she was trying.
"Pe'ey?" Amala asked her mom.

*Nessa smiled and looked down at her little daughter, with her eyes filled with love.*
"Yes, sweetie. You are so good at drawing. I think your drawing is very pretty. When we get to town afterwards, momma will buy you some paper and crayons, so you can make masterpieces at home as well. Maybe you can draw something we can give to daddy, as a gift?"

*Nessa smiled and looked lovingly at her daughter.*
"I am sure your Father loves anything you create for him. Because he loves you so much. And momma loves you too. You know that, don't you, my princess?"
*She lifted Amala out of the sandbox and kissed her as she gently removed sand from her dress and tiny hands.*

"Wuv, wuv, wuv" she repeated and looked down at the little girl in the sandbox and waved "boy boy Snowfake" the little girl waved up at Amala with a grin.
"Byee Mala!"
Amala held on to her mothers neck and waved at the girls mother as well. In fact she waved at everyone in the playground.

*Nessa chuckled with laughter and kissed her daughter when they left the park.*
"You are so good!" *She bragged.* "You melted everyones heart in there. Momma is so proud of you. Now let's go shopping!"
*Nessa brought her daughter to the shops, and after finishing shopping, she noticed that 95 % of the things she had bought was for Amala. They went to the café, where Nessa bought ice cream for Amala.*
"Here is your ice cream, sweetie. Now you can use your new crayons to draw something for daddy, while momma is feeding you ice cream!"

Amala looked at her mother as if to say How am I suppose to draw and EAT at the same time you crazy woman. Amala set her new found things down and simply stared at her mother waiting for the food.
"Num nums!"

*Nessa laughed heartily when she saw the look on her daughter's face. Sometimes she looked so much like her father. She started feeding the chocolate ice cream to her daughter. She also had bought a banana milk shake for herself. And she gently offered some of it to her daughter.*
"Do you like the num nums, sweetie?"
