"Thank the gods theres someone out there that likes a naughty man" he teased, ticking her chin.

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa grinned and pressed her body closer to his as she tickled his side.*

"Haven't you noticed that it's the bad boys who gets the girl in the end?"

*She asked*

[Ramses II]

Sadly my dear, that hasn't been the case with me.

"Not always Nessa" he gave a sad smile "but it is the bad boys who get to have all the real fun."

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa saw the sadness in his smile, and noticed it in his eyes as well. She remembered his reaction when Leetah had almost got killed by THEM. Her warm heart filled with compassion, and she caressed his cheek gently.*

"You never stopped loving her, did you?"

*It was not a question, it was a conclusion.*

[Ramses II]

He knew she knew at that moment and all the denials he had tried to feed himself slipped away with the release on one sad sigh.

"No Nessa" he looked to her with a smile "and I'm afraid I never will."

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa didn't feel any jealousy. Only sadness that he had to go through this.*

"I have known Leetah since we were young children. With one look at her, I know what's on her mind. I can ease your mind by telling you that she still loves you. It cost her a lot to let you go, but she had no choice at the time."

[Ramses II]

He figured as much.

"We both had to sacrifice for our own good and the good of the kingdom" her children were Lorien's last hope.

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa's eyes darkened. She didn't like Leetah's children. They seemed to see right through her, and to tease what they saw in her.*

"How those brats can be the last hope of Lorien is more than I understand. Just look at them. No manners at all! Always up to trouble!"

[Ramses II]

Ramses suddenly went cold "Nessa" he said lowly "even though you are right, please, do not insult them" he touched her chin "I have a royal duty to protect those children both to Leetah and to your homeland" he looked her square in the eyes.

"You understand right?"

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa softed and caressed his cheek, understanding that hating these brats would ruin her chances with Ramses.*

"I understand, Ramses. I apologize."

[Ramses II]

"Thank you" he kissed her softly and laid down in the bed.

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa kissed him back.*

"You're welcome."

*She looked out through the window and said in a joking voice:*

"Oh dear. The sun will rise in an hour. I better leave. Don't want Leetah's children to catch us like this, do we? We'll never hear the end of it."

[Ramses II]

"You might, but I won't" he lifted a lazy finger and twirled it in her hair "let's hope we find ourself in this position again, hrm?"

[Nessa Telemnar]

*Nessa smiled and kissed him lovingly.*

"I'd love to meet you like this again. As often as possible."

*She dressed herself, and blew him a kiss from the doorway before she left.

"Later, handsome."

*And she was gone.*

Ramses smiled.

She was a nice girl.

Not the kind he'd ever settle down with.

But nice none the less.
