"That you are, see you in a couple days" he waved as he rounded the corner to the nursery.
**COUPLE DAYS LATER**
Ramses sat quietly behind the counter ringing up a couple customers, it was almost time for Nightfall to show up and he was dreading it.
Now that she was an adult, it didn't seem her schoolyard crush had faltered.
That and she was a terrible flirt, not that she did it all the time, she just was not a very good flirt.
He rolled his eyes as the last customer left.

*Nightfall entered the bookshop, carrying her books for school. For once her face was serious, and she had a determined expression on her face. On her, it looked absolutely adorable. She went quietly to her place and opened her books, waiting patiently for the teacher to start school.*

Ramses stared tiredly at Nightfall "Morning."

*Nightfall nodded back.*
"Good morning. You look tired. If you want to go home to sleep, it's OK with me."
*Her eyes expressed concern, in a friendly manner.*
"Is it the thought of having me as a student that wears you out?"

He smiled warily "I was up late finishing the nursery" he stood up with a groan "would you like to see?"

*Nightfall smiled.*
"Sure! I am excited to see what you have done with it. And Nessa asked me if I could help her babysit sometimes. I said yes."

"She did, did she? I guess the pregnancy's brought the best out of both of you huh?" He waved her toward the room and opened it up.
It was a mixture of whites, blues, pinks and yellows.
"We won't know the sex of the child till the birth, so I used all of the colors."

*Nightfall looked into the room and smiled.*
"You know, it is better not to know the sex of the child. The room gets so much cooler then. I am a girl, but I hate pink, for example. Luckily, my room is painted in light green and yellow. But I love what you have done with this room. It is nice and cozy. The child will love this room."

"Thank you Nightfall, I appreciate it" he waved her out of the room "too tell you the truth I'm actually a little excited to be a father again."

*Nightfall followed him with a smile.*
"I am sure you will be a great father. You were a brilliant uncle for us."
*She suddenly remembered why she came.*
"Which subject should we start our lesson with today?"

((I'm only going to type a little about the actual lesson))
He smiled "I appreciate that, but actually we're going to start with world history where we left off in school."
He sat down at the front desk, he'd leave the shop open, there wasn't ever a rush of people so he could check anyone out during the lessons.
"Which strangely enough was right at my rule in Egypt" he laughed "I didn't want to teach about myself, but apparently according to every text book I've ever found I was an important part in Egypt's history."
He cracked his knuckles and sighed "Ramses the II was the third ruler of the nineteenth dynasty, son to Seti I and Queen Tuya. At age fourteen he was appointed prince regent. Often regarded at the most powerful and important pharaoh of Egypt, Ramses II became pharaoh at the age of 21."
He grinned "You have no idea how weird this feels to speak about myself in the third person" breathing out he continued...
**BORING HISTORY STUFF**
"By the end of the nineteenth dynasty the people had revolted against the successors and Twosret was likely ousted by Setnakhte the founder of the twentieth dynasty. The next couple dynasty's are quite boring.
So next session we'll move around Egyptian history and I'm going to have you write a paper on the five most influential pharaohs. Next week we'll be ending our Egyptian discussion and moving on to the end of the golden days of Egypt with the invasion of the Romans."

*Nightfall woke up from her daydreams when Ramses stopped talking. She had listed quite interested when he talked about himself. And she had giggled when she heard him talk about himself in third person. Because it reminded her sueauthor about Erik.*
Good heavens. I hope I get done with all my homework before the wedding.
*Nightfall looked angelic up on Uncle Ramses and asked.*
"Can I write the paper in interview style, like they do in the newspapers?"

"Well it wouldn't be an essay now would it? It would be an interview." He smiled "Please put it in essay format, it's easier to read that way although it won't help you in the slightest in the years to come."

*Nightfall sighed deeply, but smiled back. Her thoughts were already circling around which pharaos to write about. Ramses would surely be one of them. For a moment she thought about teasing him by writing about 5 other pharaos without mentioning him with a word, but she didn't want to be mean to him.*
"OK, uncle R. I will do as you wish."
*She smiled cheerfully and bowed in the precise manner as his palace servants must have done to him while he still was ruling Egypt.*
"Your wish is my command, O Wise Pharaoh!"

Ramses gave her a subtle of look of annoyance and then nodded his head in the way that he always did "Good" he looked up at the clock and smiled "I say that our three hours is up and it's about lunch time. How's about I take you to lunch to celebrate our first successful lesson?"
