Megan checked the skirt of her elaborately panelled, pale green dress in the mirror, pushed a curl of her hair into place, and smiled.
In a little more than twenty-four hours, she would be the Lady Norrington.

He knew it wasn't proper to see the bride before the wedding, but after all that they had been through, a little superstition wasn't going to hurt them. He knocked quietly.

Megan went to open the door. When she saw who it was, she didn't say anything. She merely smiled.

He pushed through the door quickly and closed it quietly "I know if some of those crazy women knew I was here they'd throw me out on my bum" he smiled and kissed her cheek. "How are you?"

"They're crazy and you know it, I was stopped twice on my way here" he smiled and ran a hand through his hair, deciding not to wear the wig today "but nothing could stop me if I wanted to get to you." He gave her a silly wink and looked around the room.
