"It's not the average woman who goes out alone at night, especially in the city."

"Not exactly average, am I?" *She said, a light behind her eyes. She could and did mean a whole myriad of things beyond the intended by that.*

Gerik suddenly felt unnerved by the fact that he couldn't see her through the darkness. If he was going to need to kill her, he'd better be able to find her. Slowly and silently, he got back into the gondola and began rowing toward the spot where her voice had come from.

*Cal was actually in the gondola now. As she had the ridiculous speed of a vampire, she could run across the water with no problem. He was wearing some sort of silly mask, though... in one deft twist of her hand, she had taken it off and they were standing face-to-face.*
*It looked like that time she hadn't closed the window fast enough and the sunlight had hit the side of her face. Hadn't cleared for a week.*
"Bad tanning accident?"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Gerik roared in horror. He reached out blindly for the now very near source of the voice, and somehow managed to grab each of her breasts before the boat rocked so violently that he and Cal were thrown into the water.

*Cal sputtered.*
"Um, groping is SO NOT OKAY!" *She said, climbing back into the gondola and beginning to squeeze water out of her hair.* "Ever heard of the no-no square?"

"The what?" He spat out a mouthful of water as he spoke. Having this conversation now somehow didn't seem all that strange, at least not compared to the events that had taken place over the last 30 seconds.

"The no-no square! You know, 'stop, don't touch me there'?" *She rolled her eyes at his blank stare and drew a box that encompassed everything from her breasts down to just below the hips and girly-parts.*
"See? My no-no square. Can't touch it unless invited." *She said, ignoring the face and forgetting that she'd dropped the mask in the water.*

The absurdity of the situation suddenly angered him and he flew into an unnecessary rage, as he was wont to do. "I'll touch you wherever I please!" he shouted, thrusting his hands below the surface of the water and grabbing her breasts again, rough enough to hurt.

*She rolled her eyes and swatted his hands off. In fact, she grabbed one of them and bit down. Hard. She didn't drink, but it was a hard enough bite and her teeth were sharp enough to hurt. A lot.* "Told you not to touch." *She said, after removing the hand from her mouth.*

Gerik pulled his hand away with a shout, jerking backwards with such force that he hit his head on the hull of the boat that was now floating along behind him, and he had the curious sensation of feeling dizzy despite the fact that he couldn't actually see anything.
He glanced down at his hand before remembering that he couldn't see it, and so he ran the fingers of the other hand over it instead. He felt two small holes there.
"What have you got in your mouth?" he demanded, more shocked than angry.

"Fangs." *She said simply.* "Could have sucked your blood but you got lucky; I'm fed at the moment."

He tried to back away slowly, but failed completely since they were in the water and his attempt to swim away from her just led him to kicking her in the shin.
"Fangs?" he gulped. "Fed?"

"Yes, fangs and feeding. For people who don't listen when I tell them not to touch my BOOBS."

He scrambled stupidly into the boat like a scared child. "You're insane," he told her, his voice sounding rather hollow. "Like, more insane than me. Or that other Opera Ghost who's not as sexy as me."
