*Though she'd never have admitted it, all of these large, new buildings made her nervous. She'd tracked Aragorn to this... place. It appeared to be an inn. That made enough sense... now why was he here? And where in here was he?*
*The fact that she was standing in the middle of the street in full Middle Earth regalia didn't seem to bother her. She was getting a lot of funny stares.*

*Aragorn hadn't found Leetah downstairs, so he burst outside. When he saw her in the street, he gave a great sigh, shaking his head as he approached her disapprovingly.*
"If I'm going to keep you alive, eventually you'll have to learn to do as I say and stay put and stay quiet."
*He took her by the arm, trying to escort her back inside.*
"Come back inside, my lady. Too many eyes have seen you as it is. We will need to make haste if we are to escape them."

*Arwen raised a dark eyebrow and, in one fluid movement, removed her slender arm from his grasp with no difficulty. Her face hid her joy at seeing him again well.*
"To do as you say?" *She asked in a cool voice as smooth as silk, a little affronted.* "I was under the impression that I was tracking you down, not escaping from someone with you."

"What the..."
*Aragorn turned back to her, confusion etched in his features. He looked her over, trying to figure out if she'd gone mad. There was something different about her, something... He couldn't place it in his exhaustion. He winced as the pain in his wound returned briefly and he offered his hand plainly.*
"Whatever game this is, please...let us go inside and rest."
*There was a sadness in his eyes, a frustration and pain of lost love. Why did she have to look so like his beloved?*

*Her eyes narrowed ever-so-subtly. Why did he not recognize her as who she was? Why did he insist she was some kind of charge?*
"I play no game, Aragorn."

*She was at it again. Aragorn's eyes shut bitterly.*
"Please..." *He whispered lowly.*
"Don't call me that. Strider or Estel, but not..."
Only she may call me that.

"Strider or Est... what is wrong with you? Perhaps they were right and I never should have left middle-earth." *She said bitterly.* "When I decided to come here it was not in hopes of being mistaken for some other woman."

*His jaw set, the tendon of his neck straining.*
"My lady...I know that she claims to be inside you, that you speak with her spirit, but..."
*He looked to the ground between them, wounded.*
"There is...there cannot be any woman for me other than my beloved Arwen. If she has passed..." *His voice trembled.* "Then I will wait for her, to be joined in death."

"I am not dead, and I am most certainly not speaking through anybody else." *Her voice was soft and almost gentle, but she was still miffed that he wasn't getting it.*
Should have known not to fall for a human man. They're denser than trees.

"But..."
*Aragorn paused. It couldn't be. And yet...hope flickered in him. His eyes lifted to hers, innocent prayer for the impossible buried deep within them.*
"Arwen?" *The word was little more than breath, as if she might vanish if he spoke it too loudly.*

*He took a step towards her in near disbelief. He caught her face in his hands, his eyes searching hers. Truly...there was no hint of anyone else. Joy softened his features and he brought his lips desperately to hers, kissing her deeply.*

*THERE was the welcome she'd been expecting. One small hand went to his manly, manly jaw to make sure he still had manly, manly stubble and the other rested on his chest as she kissed him back lovingly.*
*People were really staring now. And either Arwen didn't notice or Arwen didn't care.*

((Aww...I feel so...manly.))
*Aragorn finally broke the kiss, if only to see her again.*
"My lady..."
*He was at a loss for words. He smiled cautiously, only then aware of their surroundings.*
"Please, I have a room inside. I should...I should much like to get us both inside that we may speak privately."
