Yes, but...
*Aragorn lowered his head shyly, almost able to smell the scent of the other man on the air.*
"I'm not sure that I should."

*Leetah smiled. She could understand him. Instead, she made it easier for him by stepping outside, pulling two chairs with her and offering him one.*
"Perhaps you rather prefer to sit here in the sunlight?" *She asked gently*

*He smiled, grateful for her understanding.*
"Yes, thank you."
*He took a seat, but quickly found himself at loss for words.*

*Leetah sat down beside him.*
"What have you been up to lately, Aragorn?"
*She asked, it was Arwen in her that wanted to know.*

*He looked pensive. And tired.*
"I have been scouting the area around the Shire, waiting for something...Gandalf seems concerned, but will not speak on the matter. But now..."
*He frowned.*
"I don't know what to make of what has happened."

*Leetah looked at him, worried.*
"Gandalf too...." *she mumbled,*
*She looked up at him again.*
"I think you need to get some rest," *She said friendly.* "I don't think you slept too much tonight."

Of course not. All I could think of was the two of you, sharing your passion and loving and nude and...
"No."
*Aragorn's lips tightned.*

That was not me, that was Leetah... I would never have fallen for that man.... For me, there is only one...
*She smiled*
"I'm sorry...."
*she said quietly and looked at him again... then she sighed.*
"Let me tell you about the recent events of Lorien, so you may understand the motives for Leetah's actions.
A while ago King Orduag received a ring as a gift. As soon as he put it on, his mind was darkened, and he started acting egoistic and even cruel. We don't know where this ring comes from. The people are suffering under his reign, and only queen Tearbird is stopping him from a massacre of the people. She has the real power in Lorien now. But she is part human, and cannot live forever. Besides, the king has attempted to kill her several times. Since she refuse to share his bed, she has no children to take over the throne. Henceforth, she asked Leetah to take over the throne when she is gone.....
Two years ago, King Orduag noticed Leetah, even though she was still a child. He started to... make moves on her, but she restisted. Her brother Haldir sent her to a school, but the king continued to harass the girl. He is threatening to rape her and force her to marry him. I am sure that is because he doesn't want to lose his power as a king. And he is obsessed with her...."
*She sighed and looked up at Aragorn again.*
"This is Leetah's fate as far as I know it. Not very bright. I understand her despair. I have tried to warn her when the king was planning to rape her, and so far she has managed to escape..."

*Aragorn listened quietly, letting her tell her tale uninterrupted. When she was done, he thought about his answer.*
"I could take her somewhere else. Somewhere safe until the king is dethroned."

*Leetah blushed and looked up at him.*
"Would you be there with her?"

*Confusion passed over him and he answered simply.*
"Of course I would, my lady. How else could her safety be assured?"

*Leetah smiled sadly. She still had no hopes about the future.*
"Thank you, Aragorn. I am grateful."

*He smiled, oblivious of her hopelessness. To him, this was a good plan, one that was sound in intent.*
"How soon can you be ready to depart?"

*She smiled.*
"I am ready for my departure already, mylord. I haven't had time to unpack from my last journey."

*He nodded, looking out the door and back to her.*
"We should wait til tomorrow night. People might have seen me follow you here. Meet me at the river three hours after nightfall and we will make our journey."
