*Leetah smiled back to her son, mildly. She tried to explain, but her eyes were filled with tears because she also was worried for her beloved son's destiny.*
"Malefica said that the sword chooses the king. When Excalibur was put in that stone and King Arthur pulled it out, it was because Excalibur chose him. We couldn't bring a big rock with us to Lorien, so Malefica told the sword would sing when it was held by the rightful King of Lorien."

"I am so afraid that something will happen to him, Sebastian. He is my only child.... What will I do if something happens to him?"

"He'll be fine."
*Sebastian looked up at the young man. He looked like the tough type.*
"I am sure of it."

*Figwit studied the sword, pretending not to hear his mother's conversation. She wouldn't lose him. He had too much to do.*

*Wild giggled when she heard Leetah call Figwit a baby. Looking up at him, she could tell he was already taller than her. Wild looked up at Figwit with a glimpse of humor in her eyes.*
"Not a bad present, Bab- eh, Figwit."

"Why should it be 'bad'?" *he asked.* "It is an honor."

*Wild smiled.*
"I know it's an honor. I don't think your mother's friend would pick out a nobody to carry Excalibur. I know for a fact that Merlin himself was very strict about the persons who should be chosen to carry the sword."

"Then I shall endeavor to fulfill his expectations," *Figwit said.* "It is rather a lot to expect."

"If anyone can fulfill those expectations, it's you."

*Figwit motioned for Kirk to join them.*
"Tomorrow night at dusk. Under the large mallorn tree in the southwest corner; I will show you, Captain Kirk. But do you know it, Wild?"

*Wild nodded.*
"I know every inch of this forest. I guarded the borders against THEM while your mother fled Lorien to give birth to you."
