"You could have given some thought to that before proposing, you know. Can't escape me now." *He said dryly.*

*He sighed a little, having resigned himself to her temper long ago.*

*After a moment, the bundled up rug thumped down from the hatch, landing on Liam's head. Sorcha quickly climbed down after it and stomped back down the path leading home, her head held high, her expression stoney.*

"AGH!" *He cried, as the rug spread out over him and he had to beat it off.* "Fine then! I take back the, I dunno, seven times I've asked you? Is that the count?" *He stood.*

"I DON'T COUNT THE PROPOSALS I REFUSED," *she shot back.*

***NEW DAY***
Sorcha slowed the horse to lead it through the narrow, tricky paths of the forest until she came to a stop at the bottom of the tree, grinning up at the worn but sturdy structure nestled in its branches.
Swinging one leg over the horse, she made an ungainly attempt at dismounting that just left her with a bruised behind as she unbalanced herself and fell--though, really, it was more like sitting down rather harder than she'd meant to.
Trying to look like she had completely intended to be sitting in the dirt, she folded her hands across her stomach and whistled innocently, looking up at the tree as the horse began to graze beside the path.

*Liam, taller than her when she was standing up, towered when he looked down at her sitting.*
"Don't try making it look like you did that on purpose. Because I know you did not."
