"Go ahead, jump!" *She shouted back.* "Whether or not they understand why doesn't change the fact that you don't have the balls courage to face life rather than run away from it!"
*She turned again to walk to the house. Tea would be starting soon; and her mother would be upset if she was late.*

"All I want is Death," *he whispered to himself, turning back to face the sea and taking a running leap off the edge of the cliff.
Unfortunately, he missed the rocks and merely hit the water really hard. He wondered vaguely if it were possible to drown on purpose.*

"Oh bloody hell." *She muttered, peeking over the cliff, and, upon seeing that he had not, in fact, succeeded in killing himself, and taking off at a run down the shortcut to the beach. Forgetting that she was in a white dress, she trudged into the water and grabbed one of his arms and began pulling him out with a strength that was surprising, given her size.*
"Come on, you're going to be late for tea as it is and you're not going to kill yourself that way."

"I don't WANT. Any God damn TEA." *He ripped his arm from her grip and trudged through the water as they reached the shallows, his clothes streaming water and plastered against his skin.* "You act as if everything is so easy. You speak as if you know me. You know nothing."

"Well it's quite possible that I don't. In fact, it's probable. I don't know you, but I do know that you missed the rocks. Sorry, but you're not being welcomed into Death's embrace today, so you may as well drink some bloody tea and wait until tomorrow."
*She snapped, crossing her arms over her chest. Her dress was, unfortunately, almost transparent and she was attempting not to think about it.*

*He paled at her last words and jerked backwards, looking sick as he turned and ran.*
God, I miss her.
"TELEUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!" *he bellowed in futile rage against the sky. On the beach, he fell to his knees.* "Where are you?" *he sobbed.* "God, I'm so sorry...I'm so sorry I couldn't save you..."

*Ellie looked at him strangely. It was an odd name, to be sure, but perhaps this was the person who had made him think he had no other choice but to go jumping off a cliff. She would have attempted to comfort him, but she felt that would have been... awkward.*
*She moved up to the beach and covered herself as best she could with her shawl.*

*Tony sat on a rock, his arms resting on his bent knees, staring out at the ocean as the hot sun dried his clothes.*

*Mac licked his hand, tail a-wag, before Ellie called to him, turning to finally go back up to the house. Before she left, she turned back for just a second. She looked as if she was about to say something, but instead wrung her long, dark hair out and continued up the path.*
