You didn't know that? Whoops. I probably wasn't supposed to spill, then. Oh well! *She shrugged.* Isn't that hilarious, though? They seem like the last people in the world that would get pregnant accidentally. Well, maybe not Mom, but definitely Dad.

He snorted. "Seriously. Mom told me that when they first met, Dad was having trouble talking."

*Sometime on her honeymoon, Micaela managed to send a letter to Teddy. She was going to send a similar one to his mother, and then one to Megan.*
Teddy- So you know how I was in Monte Carlo? Maxim came to Monte Carlo too... don't even ask me why. I got a telegram a few days before I was supposed to leave, telling me that my father had died and I was needed at home. I was packed and ready to go when Maxim proposed. So now I'm married.
Yeah. I'm still in shock myself.
If you could keep my piano at the apartment in tune (you know where the spare key is) that'd be fantastic. I'm going to have it delivered to my new home in Cornwall in a few weeks.
Don't worry, I'm planning on visiting. And having your whole family up to Manderley after we've settled in.
Love, Micaela de Winter

*Scarlett burst into Teddy's room, still wearing a dress even though it was past 12. That was The Sign that something was wrong. The last time she hadn't gone out riding by 11 (apart from the days she was sick), it was because someone had died.* Teddy.

Teddy sat straight up. "Scarlett, what's the matter?" he asked gently, getting up and steering her to the bed.

*She looked up at him slowly.* Teddy, he... he married her.

He hugged his sister. "Oh, Scarlett," he whispered comfortingly. "You poor thing." Teddy squeezed her. "I'm so sorry."

He married her. He doesn't even know her. He doesn't know me either, but he certainly doesn't know her well enough to marry her. *Her voice was incredibly soft.*

Teddy hugged his sister, unsure of what to say beyond "I'm sorry."

But I'm supposed to be happy for her, aren't I? She's my godmother. I should be happy that she got married. I should be glad that she's happy. *She looked up at him, her eyes slightly desperate.* Am I a horrible person, Teddy?

"No, you're not a horrible person. You're in love."

*She fiddled with her hair listlessly.* A lot of good it's doing me.
((I'm sorry if any of these don't make sense. I'm working on my NaNo frantically right now so my brain isn't workin very well.))

((That's okay. I've been talking to grandparents.))
He smiled supportively. "Don't worry, Scarlett. You may be sad now, but there are other fish in the sea, right?"

But none like him! *She considered her hair for a moment.* Maybe I should dye my hair.
