*Sylvia's body quivered slightly at the thought. It was one she tried very hard not to think about. In all honesty, it was likely they would be going to the same place together. Straight down to Hell. She pursed her lips to keep them from trembling. Her voice was faint and unsure.*
"I can only have faith..."
*But what was that after the Church had abandoned her so?*

"Faith? You don't need faith when you already know. All you can do now is try and make up for lost time. So, unless you can truly help me, I will keep tormenting you."
*Mondego felt he was finally going somewhere. Maybe he wouldn't get stuck in the dream world. He could be flesh again and then partake in some flesh again.*

*Sylvia was quick to shake her head.*
"I understand. I promise. Now...you'll leave and let me...get started?"

"Sylvia. Don't disappoint me."
*Mondego left the room through the wall, he always wanted to do that.*

***NEW NIGHT***
*Sylvia made it home hurriedly from the infirmary. She had been quite shaken up by things with Dracula earlier and was looking forward to a hot bath. She stripped off her uniform, pausing to note the welts that Mondego had left in her skin in the vanity mirror. They were finally starting to fade. Now if only the shackle didn't make such terrible blisters... She slipped on a robe and ran some hot water. Once the tub was full, she shed the robe and slid into the tub.*
Oh yes...that's much better.

*Dracula slipped into the room and silently watched as Sylvia undressed, the scars on her body unnerved him. When she had finally slipped into the hot water, Dracula appeared from the shadows.*
"Now where were we, before we got so rudely interrupted?"

*Sylvia jumped at the sound of his voice, causing the water in the tub to splash over the side. She quickly leaned out of the tub, trying to conceal her exposed flesh as she struggled to reach her robe.*
"I...told you I..."
*She remembered his comment about Jonathan and paused, lowering her lashes.*
"What did you want to talk about?"
*Her robe was just out of reach, and as she strained, her back showed wet over the side of the tub, a pink FM visible.*

*Dracula stepped closer to the tub and reached for her back, but not touching it. Dracula looked dead serious.*
"First of all, you might elaborate on how this, come to be.

*With the new proximity, Sylvia gave up on decency and got up out of the tub to retrieve her robe, slipping it over her wet form without toweling off first, causing it to cling to her skin as she wrapped it around herself defensively. She looked bitterly amused.*
"You are not the only unwelcome advance I have received. There is is another at bid for that which you seek."

"Who is he?"
*Dracula asked as he stepped back, feeling mostly protective for his wife, but also feeling some .... well some kind of feelings for Sylvia.*

*Sylvia was a bit surprised at his moving back. She eyed him suspiciously.*
"He...he wanted me once. But now I think he fancies your wife."
*She looked to the vanity, thinking of the dagger in its drawer. She looked back to him.*
"His name is Mondego, but it doesn't really matter...he's dead."
*She walked to the vanity to collect her brush and stood by it, looking into the mirror sadly.*
"Not even you can stop what he has become."

"He's dead? A ghost, perhaps."
I know someone who can handle those too bad she's being possessed by one of my sworn enemies
"And yet he cuts you up? A powerful ghost."

*Sylvia shrugged.*
"Apparently your wife has left me more vulnerable to visitation in dreams. Now I have more to look forward to than just you."
*She started brushing her hair. It calmed her to have something mindless to do. There was bitter sarcasm in her voice.*
"But honestly, what is a little extra rape and murder in the grand scheme of what I endure for her? So what if he takes me and then cuts me and strangles me? It's only a dream, after all. A dream that I manage to bear the marks of."

"Marks that my wife bear too."
*Dracula stepped closer, looking into the mirror seeing her reflection but not his.*
"Things can be arranged. I have powerful allies, I am powerful myself. We can get rid of this ghost."

*Sylvia looked back to him, startled to hear his voice so close, but not see his reflection. It took her a moment to catch on. She pursed her lips and looked him over shrewdly. Was he...being civil? That was weird.*
"You would...do that for me?"
Oh no...of course not.
"Oh...right. For her."
*She turned back to the mirror.*
"Forgive me if I am surprised by your offer of help. I figured you were here for something else."
