Sweeney had fallen asleep after being helped up to his bed by Magda. A few hours later, he awoke to something strange pressing against his lip. For a moment he was confused, but then he remembered. He looked around the room and saw Magda watching him from the corner.
"I did deserve that," he muttered, his new fangs feeling strange in his mouth.

"You certainly did," Magda snapped. "I hope you realize there's no going back."

He nodded solemnly. "It's not as if I'd be any better off if I could."

"No more sunlight. How does that feel, Mr. Todd?"
As she stepped forward, it became evident that his blood had revitalized her. Her skin was less dead-white, her hair was longer.

((Human blood makes hair grow! That'll be nice for Sweeney! )) He laughed cynically. "I didn't go out in it very often as a human, did I?" Deep down, he knew that he would miss the warmth of the sun, the brightness of day, but he was determined not to put up a fight—it wasn't worth the pain.

((*shrugs* Well, I think it just kind of generally livens up whatever the vampire wants it to.))
"I should have just killed you, but I was feeling generous."

((Twas a joke, love. I like my Sweeney bald.)) "Thank you very kindly, my dear. Your charitable conduct shall not be forgotten," he snarked. He looked at the window, which was darkened by shutters and curtains. "Is it night yet?"

"You can look. I'm not going to let myself get burned again," said Magda, retreating to the shadows. "And don't you try to get any on me, sir. Whatever hurts me hurts you now, too."
((Does this make him the Vampire Barber of Fleet Street now?))

((Hell yes!))
He scowled. "Well, I'm still a little weak, and you seem to be doing much better. Besides, whether the sun is out or not, it's at least very late afternoon, and that window faces to the East. I doubt you'll be burned."

((Oh, okay. Oh, and go look at the comparison I posted of Magda and Bellatrix Lestrange in "Whoever's online now". It's amusing.))
"Don't give me that look! You do it yourself if you're so set on it!"

He rolled his eyes. "Fine!" He got up and opened the shutters a crack. Suddenly, he opened the windows all the way. It was dark out, and the stars shone brightly. "Where do you live, Magda?" he asked.
