*Enjolras sat quietly the next morning, sipping his coffee and smiling to himself. He hadn't wanted to wake her, so he had come down here to wait until she got up.*

*Belladonna slipped into the kitchen, hoping she wouldn't disturb anyone. Enjolras was already inside, and something inside her did a backflip- whether it was because she was hungry or because of him, she didn't truly know. She smiled shyly at him, and found her voice again when he smiled back.* Good morning!

*He grinned brightly.*
"Good Morning, Bella. Do you want something to eat?" *He asked. The cook wasn't up yet but he could easily make something. Living alone had done wonders for his cooking skills.*

*She smiled at him* No, thank you, I'm fine. But thank you. *She hesitated for a moment, then sat down.* How are you this morning?

*He shrugged.*
"Fine. I haven't gotten to wake up in so long that I've nearly forgotten what it feels like."
*He gestured to the coffee.*
"Are you sure you wouldn't like something to drink?"

*She shook her head* No, thank you. *There was a moment of silence, and then she stood up abruptly.* I'm sorry. I should go. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

*He stood up as well, and grabbed her hand somewhat awkwardly to stop her. He was never good with mornings-after.*
"No... I'd be happy if you stayed. Unless you have somethiung else to do, I mean."
*He mentally kicked himself for not having thought of her having other plans.*
"I'll have my carriage take you back to the Opera, if you'd like."
*He said, a little defeatedly and unexpectedly vulnerably. He had really enjoyed her company, and he didn't want it to end.*

I- um, I don't have anything to do, I just didn't want to be in the way if you had anything that you needed to do...

*Enjolras laughed a little, taking her other hand and smiling.*
"I don't think I've got anything planned. Yesterday I was hardly fit to go around making engagements... then again, I don't think it would be best for my brother's wife to come down to breakfast, only to find that the 'nephew' she only just found out she had in a compromising position with a beautiful woman." *He scowled.* "Why my brother had to marry such an insatiable gossip I have no idea... perhaps it's better if you do go home."
*He looked directly into her eyes, no longer scowling.*
"Do you think I could see you again?"

*She smiled shyly.* I'd like to see you again. I'm always around the Opera if you need to find me.

*He smiled gently down at her.*
"I'll be sure to stop by sometime. Should I send the carriage?"

*She shook her head* I can walk.

*He frowned, mostly to himself.*
"Nonsense, I wouldn't want you hurting yourself, in your... condition."
*He blushed a little--he was better at night. Much less awkward.*
"I have to go to the bank to put some affairs in order anyway, and the Opera is on the way."

*She flushed prettily* I'm sure I could manage to get myself back, but if you're on the way and you don't mind, I would appreciate the ride.

*He nodded and smiled.*
"I don't mind at all. I don't think I would be able to refuse you anyway, even if it was out of the way."
*He turned around to pull a string that he knew to be connected to a bell in the stablemaster's room, ringing twice to signal for the carriage to come around. He was adjusting very well to his old life.*
"The carriage will be out in around ten minutes." *He looked at her strangely for a moment.* "...And are you sure you wouldn't like to borrow some of Emiline's old clothing? I'm no expert on fashion, but I think an opera gown would look a little out of place at this hour."
