"If it had been any trouble, I wouldn't have done it," *he replied.*

*Daniel wandered over to Dorian*
"Still, thanks are in order."
*He crossed his arms, making the movement look graceful*
"Any plans for the evening?"

"I always have plans for the evening, my friend." *Dorian said with a smirk.*
"There's a club not far from here. Though it's notorious for its lack or morals, I have yet to visit it. Would you care to join me?"

"Wonderful. Follow me, then," *Dorian said with a wicked grin.*
*Upon leaving the inn, Dorian hailed a cab to take the two of them to the Kit Kat Klub.*

***NEW NIGH- OH WAIT. ACTUALLY IT'S LATER THAT SAME NIGHT. WELL, DANG.***
*Dorian and Daniel made their way through the nearly deserted city in the small hours of the morning. The inn seemed eerily deserted as they arrived and climbed the stairs to Dorian's rooms. He unlocked the door and stood aside for Daniel to pass.*

*Daniel entered the room with a nod to Dorian*
"Feels almost like an anticlimax coming here after all that."

"My apologies..." *he said, without sounding sorry in the least.*

*Sounding far too casual, Daniel said:
"So, why is it that you hide a painting in your closet?"

*Dorian visibly stiffened.*
"It's none of your concern."

*He noted Dorian's sudden change in expression*
"Oh? What could be so provocative about it that it must be hidden?"

"It's my business, Daniel," *he said bristling.* "It's not important."

*Dorian was defensive, hmm? Interesting.*
"You realize your reaction makes me even more curious."

"Don't make me ruin a perfect evening by asking you to leave."
