"The opium... Erik mentioned opium. Was he telling the truth, James?"

"Yes" James said simply.

"I tried it once. I thought it was disgusting."
She said this for lack of anything better to say.

"I didn't know what I was doing" he said sadly "I just wanted to forget, I thought I had lost you"

"I don't blame what you did. It was a moment of weakness."
She looked at him very seriously and added,
"But you must promise me... never again."

She smiled again and leaned against him once more.

He was quiet all of a sudden, his breathing grew heavier as if he were...asleep.

Megan sat up and looked at him. He was out like a candle.
She smiled softly and leaned against him, putting her arms around his neck, and within a few minutes, she was asleep too.

**DAYS LATER...MAYBE... I DUNNO MEGAN'S BEEN EVERYWHERE AND NORRY'S JUST SITTIN' AROUND BEIN NORRY**
James moved a couple cards around on a table in a lonely game of solitaire, Megan had gone out again "Wedding shopping" he muttered and pulled at him shirt.
In all truth he missed her and wished she'd come back soon, that, and he was bored out of his mind.

**NEW DAY BECAUSE I'M FREAKING SICK OF PINA BEING STUCK IN LIMBO**
*Pina sat in the room that Norrington and her mother shared, looking gloomily out the window. She'd arrived a few days ago which will be played as a flashback, dammit, and had taken a distinct dislike to her future stepfather.
Megan and Norrington had gone down to dinner, and despite Megan's begging, Pina had refused to go with them. She also hadn't taken off her veil since she left the cellars.*

*With a loud flash/bang (blang as it were) Nerida appeared in the room.*
"Why so sad, my poor young child. Tis now the time for running wild. To sulk and mourn, t'will go nowhere. Then dance and play without a care."

*Pina jumped nearly a foot in the air, and whirled around, her eyes wide. She gaped at the strange woman as she... recited a poem?*
"... what? Who are you?"

*Nerida rolled her eyes before laughing a tinkling laugh.*
"That my dear, is not to see. Your fairy Godmother, I've come to be. I pass along your family line. Tis now your turn, for all things fine."

"... You're a fairy?"
*Well, that would explain the speaking in rhyme. Sort of. She crossed her arms, still skeptical.*
"How do I know I can trust you?"
