"I refuse to take payment from a lady."
*Loke smiled and made a gesture against the room. The gesture made a girl who looked exactly like Roxanna.*
"My dear, never underestimate my power. The door is now open. The girl remains here till you are back."

((What she means is, Dracula is here right now. Remember?))

((I know. I'll talk to Marijke and we'll find out something that might work.))

"I'll keep it in mind. I don't trust you, God or not."

*Loke smiled. The girl was right. He WAS a god. A trickster god. And tricksters should never be trusted....*
"You are free to think as you please, beautiful mademoiselle." He replied and bowed gently.

*She rolled her eyes*
"You say that to all the girls, I assume."

*Loke smiled.*
"Certainly not, mademoiselle. Only to the beautiful ones."

"Look, you're barking up the wrong tree."
*She cocked her head*
"I also like beautiful girls."

*Loke grinned and looked at her with humor in his eyes.*
"Delighting, isn't it?"

((Even if Team Evil doesn't win, I'm almost hoping they get the girls. For a little while, anyway.))

(( ;D The bad guys ALWAYS get the girls. It's one of the rules of the 'verse))
*Dracula kinda rolled his eyes at his daughter and then gazed intensely at Loke.*
"She shall not leave this house, unless I let her. Is that understood?"

(( :-D Loke doesn't.))
*Loke smiled and shrugged.*
"Relax old friend, it was a nice try, though." *to Roxanna* "Sorry, toots."
*Turns to Dracula again.*
"Enough of girl talk. What we need to do now, is lay some battle plans. Malefica may look like an innocent young girl, but she is the toughest opponent I ever had. Didn't you hear what she did to the ghosts of the Spanish Inquisision?"

"No," *Richard said, his interest piqued.* "What?"

*Loke shuddered. It had really been a terrible sight. For him. He whispered in fear that Malefica could hear him:*
"Their leader, Thomas de Torquemada, had almost found out where she had hidden the Grail. Then he stumbled upon her.... She lifted a Golden Wand and summoned the forces of GOOD SPIRITS! And the Inquisition was surrounded by a golden light. They started burning, as the flames of hell consumed them. Their screams.... it was terrible. And then... they disappeared. Completely. Their names didn't even remain in the afterworld!"

*Edward came wandering up to the door and knocked. He wasn't quite sure what he was doing, but knew it involved something about a war and hot girls, which seemed a perfect combination to him. He stood by the door grinning as he daydreamed and waited for someone to answer.*
