*Loke smiled and joined Dracula in the living room.*
"Let me tell you something about the details... I forgot to mention that the Guardians name.... is Malefica."

*Dracula sat down and pursed his lips for a moment, before smiling.*
"Interesting, it seems that I have already met your Guardian."

*Loke sat down as well and smiled back.*
"You know each other?"

"She turned me into a frog once. Lovely little girl."
*At that moment a servant entered with a tray with glasses on it. Mind you that no servant had been called. Scientists think that Dracula's servants are in fact telepathic, so that they know when their Master needs them to A. Get him something to eat/drink B **** and C Kill them.
Anyhow, Dracula nodded at the servant who placed the tray on a table and passed Loke a glass filled with a dark red liquid.*
"Don't worry, it's wine."
*Dracula said. The servant quickly left.*

*Loke smiled. He wasn't worried.*
"She has changed a lot since you saw her last. She is not green anymore, and she is is a teenager now. A beautiful innocent teenager, with a real talent of spellcasting and magical potions. She may fight alone in the war and yet not show any signs of fear. Or she could gather an army against us. The war will be long and hard. But if we win, the world will be OURS!
This mentioned: I could need an army. Name your price for joining me in the battle. I am a rich and powerful man, and can give you anything or anyone you like!"

*Dracula leaned back in his chair and thought for a moment.*
"There is one thing I want. A woman."
*His grin widened.*

*Loke smiled. Somehow, he was not surprised. Dracula had always had the same interests as himself.*
"Only one woman?" *he teased* "Name her, and she will be yours as soon as we win the war!"

"She is the only one whom I want, but I cannot have. Quite annoying."
*Dracula said as he drank from his glass, which did contain blood.*
"Her name is Irene Ebauche."

*In all his evil research, Richard had determined at least one fact--that Count Dracula was spawn of the lowliest order, and therefore ripe for the plotting. The stories he'd heard could not be half-true, but there was enough wickedness within them that even a kernel of truth would put Dracula in Richard's good books.
Powerful men were uneasy allies. But a slim chance at power was better than none.
He limped up to the castle door and rapped with his cane.*

*Loke drank his wine and smiled smugly.*
"Irene Ebauche. You always had a good taste in women..... " *he thought for a while, and his yellow eyes started glittering.* "Very well. As soon as we win the war, all women will be our prisoners. Irene Ebauce will be yours... And Malefica.... will be mine! We will need to gather an army. I suggest, as the Master of these Halls, you do that."

*Hears knocking on the door*
"Enter, King Richard III! Every man that join our forces in the search of the Holy Grail will be greatly rewarded!"

*Richard entered, his eyes round with surprise.*
"I am not yet king," *he said.* "Of what speak ye, to call me by such a name?"
*In other words, he was sold.*

*Loke smiled and offered Richard a chair and a glass of wine.*
"Sit down, my friend, and relax." *he said.* "I am Loke, the god who intend to conquer the Holy Grale! With that I will reward greatly all men that join my forces! This battle will be long and hard, but the Grale and the Glory will be Ours! Name your price for joining our battle!"

*Images flashed through Richard's mind. The Holy Grail meant everlasting life, but what good was it in this shape? As the brother to a king? A hale body would be welcome, but he had done well enough with this one. And being King... well, he wanted that, too, but it would certainly be more pleasurable with time enough, or body enough, to enjoy it.
He did not doubt at all that this man believed what he said. There was an unmistakable aura of power around both of them. And though he felt a pang of remorse at throwing in his lot with the demons, he did not truly regret it.
It would be the winning side, after all.*
"Beatrice of Messina," *he said without thinking. Indeed, it was not what he had expected. He had not truly known the depth of his desire for her until that very moment.*
