"You could wear the clothes of peasants and still look beautiful and please me, it's just that..."
*Dracula looked deep into her eyes.*
"...you have such a beautiful neck."

*Elisabeta smiled shyly and lifted her hands to the clasp of the necklace. She paused and sucked her lip before finally removing it. Her throat bore long red scratches, some that had bled and clotted.*
"I am afraid that it is not as beautiful this evening as my lord would prefer. I did not mean to attend you in such a state. Please forgive me. I only want to be lovely for you."

*Dracula traced the scratches with his finger and looked at them with distress in his eyes.*
"Who did this?"

*Elisabeta pursed her lips and could not meet his eyes.*
"She did. Sylvia. She was under duress."
*She shifted slightly.*
"That doctor has some poison. It makes one see terrible things..."
*She shuddered against him, remembering the water running over her skin.*
"It was too much for her to bear."

*Dracula sensed there was something wrong.*
"Why did her doctor poison her?"

*Elisabeta's tongue twisted in her mouth. She had hoped to spare him this knowledge.*
"He...used it to instill fear in me before he..."
*She turned her face away from him.*
"I was proud, I defied him. I told him that I bow before no man but you."
*A tear escaped and fell against Dracula's bare skin.*
"His poison made me scream before he took me."

*Dracula's throat went dry as he felt the anger boil inside of him. He said nothing for while and only hold Elisbeta close to him. The thought of another man dishonoring his wife filled him with madness. Finally he spoke softly, but firmly.*
"I'll kill him."
((Hypocrite much?))

((That's really why he did it- he wanted to piss you off.))

*Elisabeta brushed away her tears and shook her head against his chest sadly.*
"No, my love...no. If you do...her fury will be so great that I will never gain control of her. It is nothing. Please, just let me be with you and think not of it."
*She kissed his chest softly, entwining a lock of his hair around her finger as she looked up to him. She spoke solemnly.*
"Promise me, Vlad. Promise me that you will not risk our time together for your vanity. Even when he takes me, I am yours alone. I swear."

*Dracula turned his head and stared coldly into the distance.*
You will not get away with this, doctor.
*He turned his head back and nodded.*
"I promise."
*Dracula kissed Elisabeta fiercely.*
"I promise I will not kill him until this body is yours again."

"Agreed."
*Elisabeta kissed him deeply, pulling herself tighter against him. Oh, to be home with her love, it was sublime. She traced her tongue slowly over his bottom lip.*
"So my lord, if you are not yet fully satisfied for the evening..."
*She smiled lecherously.*
"...I find I still hunger."
*She caressed his chest wantonly and kissed him roughly, biting his lip as she pulled back.*
"If you would like some reprieve...perhaps it might be time for me to meet...my chamber maid properly."

"That can be arranged."
*Dracula replied as he kissed her neck and stroked her breasts.*
*At that moment Marijke entered the room while making the best Lurch impression that she could master.* "You rang?" *The moment, however, that she glanced up at the coffin she shrieked and turned around as fast as she could. "How can I help?"
"Bring Irene to us.*
*Marijke left and came back with Irene. Marijke gave Irene a comforting pat on the back and then walked out of the room muttering something about brain bleach.*

*Elisabeta smiled and replaced the necklace deftly. No slave would see her damaged. She kissed him hotly and leaned forward to whisper against his ear suggestively.*
"Until you feel up to it...you are more than welcome to just watch. I don't mind."
*She stood gracefully and exited the coffin. As Irene was brought in, her lips twisted into a cruel smile.*
"My lord, aren't you going to introduce us properly? I don't believe I've had the pleasure."

*Dracula stepped out of the coffin too and stood next to Elisabeta.*
"My love, this is the widow Irene Ebauche."
*His eyes gleamed cruelly has he mentioned her dead husbands last name.*
"Irene, this is Elisabeta Draculea Tepes, my beatiful wife."

*Elisabeta approached Irene gracefully, looking her over appraisingly. Now that she had time to examine her properly, she noted that Irene was quite a catch. Maybe a bit coarse around the edges, a bit broken, but she still had an inherent beauty. And she was so obviously foreign. She silently prayed that Vlad would not favor her exotic features and accent to her own Romanian ones. She leaned in to Irene, glancing up for a moment to smile wickedly to her love before she whispered hotly against Irene's ear.*
"It's a pleasure."
Mine, of course.
