*Now if that ever did sound like a lovely thought. Sarah leaned back, expression easier, already wondering at the task. Surely it wasn't so difficult.*
"That sounds just perfect." *She assured him, resting her hand on his arm for a moment.*
"Surely we could go somewhere. There are parks and such. Fewer people." *She offered with a careful smile.*
"I'd love to. If you want to go."

Norman shuddered involuntarily.
"I don't want to take any steps back," he said, his tone worried. "What if I can't stop it?"
He couldn't be this weak forever. It felt like walking through water; maybe it was mere human strength, but it felt like illness. How long could he hold out?

*Sarah's eyes saddened, the fresh hope dimming.*
"Well, I'd be with you. And...I've stopped you before." *She knew it was a risk, but if he could have even one night to be a normal person... Well, maybe it'd be easier for him.*

He raised his eyes to her again.
"I'm not as strong as I could be," he agreed. "Do you think you could? Stop me from killing, that is. Stop... someone who wants it as much as I don't?"

*Sarah grew a little frumpy. She couldn't help it. It made her sad, seeing him like this.*
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to try to get you to do something you didn't..." *She shook her head.*
"Maybe it would be better, getting you home."

He'd done something again, ruined something just by being himself, and it made him sad and angry. She had no right to expect anything of him! No right to assume that, underneath it all, he was good and just needed some help.
"I do want," he said softly. "I just don't trust myself. I... I trust you, though."

*Somewhat comforted by his words, Sarah rested her hand on his.*
"I'll tell you what. Why don't we try taking the long way home and see how it goes? There's a nice park with some trees, but if you're not feeling up to it, it's still on the way. All right?" *She asked gently.*

Norman watched her for a moment, too grateful to speak.
"That... that sounds nice," he said, squeezing her hand. "I... yes. Let's do that."

*Sarah smiled more easily, happy with this plan. And the fact that it was agreeable enough with him.*
"Come along then." *She tucked her hand under his arm, readying for the trip outside.*

Norman placed his hand over hers, where it lay at the crook of his elbow, and smiled.
"I'm ready," he said. He felt week, but there was the beginning of giddiness in there and he did not care.

***NEW DAY***
*Hannibal sifted through his notes, categorizing some of his more recent cases. Things had been relatively quiet for him in Paris as of late. And as someone that was wanted by the FBI (among others), quiet could be most welcome.*

Well, the quiet was about to disappear.
"Bits, human bits!" It was shouted quite casually, not unlike the familiar shouts of 'hot coffee' and such. It was just that coffee wasn't usually enough to get people out of the way. Bits of a corpse certainly were.
Hodgins just hoped this doctor Fell would be able to help him. It wasn't as if the people at the precinct hadn't tried, it was more that they were incompetent and ill-equipped. Not that he blamed them, they were after quite behind on him in the timewise development of things. They couldn't help it.
It was at such times that Dr. Jack Stanley Hodgins really missed the Jeffersonian and its people, they really knew their stuff over there. Oh well, you had to play with the hand you were dealt.
With his arms full of a rather large box, upon which a large jar containing a head had been placed, knocking became extremely difficult. Jack settled for a polite kick against the office door. Or as polite as kicking a door could get, anyway.

*Hannibal's brow creased as the ruckus swelled in the hallway. Was it mandatory to be so rowdy? He was American, no doubt. And with something to prove. Only with the kick at his door did he realize that it was most likely this fellow was his appointment. He sighed privately and stood, answering the door with a stoic expression.*
"Mr. Hodgins. What is it that seems to be the problem?" *The words were cool, in reference mostly to the pile of evidence in the man's arms. Mostly. After a long moment with eyes fixed to the young man, he stepped to the side so Hodgins could enter the room.*

"Doctor Fell," Hodgins greated, sounding quite upbeat for someone carrying a human body in pieces.
"Well, I'd say his problem is that several parts of him aren't attached to the rest of him... but the interesting bit is something quite different." Jack walked into the office, looking around for a place to put the stuff down.
"Of course... some testing will have to be done." Science came first, after all.

*Eccentric, but who wasn't in that line of work? Hannibal shut the door behind him and returned to his desk to await further explanation. His demeanor was perfectly smooth, though polite and civil.*
"Of course." *He concurred and gestured slightly to the box, his eyes not dropping from the man's face.*
"Perhaps you can explain what you're hoping to get my assistance with."
