**NEW DAY**
In this part of the infirmary, it was silent. Yuna would say as quiet as a tomb, if it weren't such an insensitive remark in this situation. There had been little fuss made when she'd requested access, and she found it curious at how laid-back the response was. She knew, of course, not to take anything for granted, and was still careful as she made her way to the area she'd been told recent deaths were taken to.
The only sound was her and Yann's footsteps on the tile floor.

Yann kept surpressing shivers, both because of the chilly temperature and the presence of death. His body yearned for the daylight and the relative warmth of the living people on the streets, but he pressed on, telling himself he needed to be a man.
"I hope I'll never end up here," he whispered.

She paused at a hallway intersection, feeling a strangely familiar disturbance in the air currents.
"I...am actually right. There are unsent here, somewhere--"
And, just like that, little glowing balls of ethereal energy began to drift by, the light soft and of the colors of a sunset. There was nothing threatening in their approach, they simply seemed to be drifting.
"I guess it shall have to be a mass-sending."
This was not a problem, as she'd done those before, sadly.

((can Yann see them too or are they only visible for her?))

((Oh, yeah. Unsent are always visible as globes/orbs of light.))

Never having been in a morgue, Yann wasn't sure if he should be scared about the glowing orb things or not. Yuna didn't seem to be too phased about it, so he decided to consider them harmless.
"Can I do anything to help you with that?" he whispered.

"Just make sure no one comes up and disturbs me. I have to concentrate." Humming a tune that would be familiar to anyone from Spira, she slowly moved into what could have been mistaken for as just a dance, but was actual a ritual.

Yann watched, half in awe and half in horror. The orbs moved around and he had to focus not to recoil when they got closer to him. It was all so weird, so unlike anything he'd ever read about. He had never known that his world harboured such wonders.

When she reached the end of the ritualistic movements, all of the glowing orbs had softly faded away, leaving only Yann and Yuna standing in the corridor.
Yuna stood still for a moment, eyes a bit distant, as she slowly came back to the here and now.
"That's all of them, from here." She said quietly. "Even the poor lady from the apartment."

Yann wrapped his arms around his torso, suddenly feeling cold and alone. It felt empty without those... souls? around.
"This is good, right?" he whispered hoarsely.

"Oh, yes." She said with a nod.
"Now they can all go to their rest."

Yann sighed deeply and leaned against the wall for support. It overwhelmed him all and he longed for something familiar. "Something to eat now?" he asked, even if he wasn't hungry.

"If you want. I saw a little ramen shop, if you want to give that a try."
She wasn't hungry, not really, though if she ate something she felt it should probably be something simple that wouldn't upset a stomach.

"Anything you want." He mainly wanted to get out of this place of death.

"I know where it is, a bit out of the way..." she said, heading out. Somehow, the footsteps didn't sound so heavy, nor the atmosphere so forbidding. Almost as though a weight had been lifted.
