My experience as a detective had taught me to suspect everyone. I paced the halls, reviewing all I knew about Theodore Lawrence. Married, popular with women, artistic, American. I found myself in the halls outside the dormitories. Georgiana had called him Laurie- what could that have meant?

I decided to review the possibilities:
Suicide- unknown motive Arielle- jealousy; perhaps she had seen him with another woman Raoul- did he still love Arielle? Jo March- I knew little of her, except that she had been seen in his house Georgiana- a spurned lover, perhaps?

((It might create conflict- how could any woman put Raoul in jail? Especially if Irene still had feelings for him.))

I decided to begin my questioning.
"Miss Georgiana?"
I knocked on the door of her room.

"Thank you." I pulled up a chair and took out my notes. "Now, what can you tell me about the late Mr. Laurence?"

"You say you weren't close to him. And yet when you saw him, you called him Laurie. A term of endearment for one whom you hardly knew."

*Shakes head.* I was shocked and that is what Arielle calls him when she talks of him so I suppose it just stuck.
