I know it might not last, this euphoria, but if I've learned anything from playing Nicolas, it's to live in the moment.
Nicki and George Boleyn are so my new OTP. Or maybe my first and only OTP. They are so glorious together!

László/Louis--no, not like that, just as friends. It's so adorably awkward...I can't help it.

It's not really shipping since she's dead, but I have come to like Vimes' obsession with Rebecca after having seen her portrait.

Even though you know he'd've despised her if he'd known her when she was alive. He'd still have felt disappointed by having failed to bring her killer to justice, but he'd've liked her a lot less.

Of course. But dead and unknown, she's a symbol of his failure and the corruption of those around him.

*whistles innocently*
*still ships Nicolas and George Boleyn really bad*
*....such that they have a pairing name. It is Boleynfent. Maggie does not seem to mind*

Wouldn't Georgolas be easier to pronounce?

Boleynfent is easier to pronounce than Georgolas. Particularly if you are French-challenged, like some people are. *halo*

To me it sounds like some kind of Renaissance English pachyderm.

It actually reminds me of the French for "child", but then, Nicki's last name always did, and I suspect that was deliberate on Anne Rice's part.

Eh, personally I don't think either looks that great, but then I've never been much of a fan of the whole name-combining thing (give me nicknames like "Sexy Alliteration" or "The Squishmercys"). ...Georgolas kinda looks like a mutant version of Legolas. I know that's not how you'd say it, but that's how it LOOKS.

LOOK IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT ANYONE BUT MAGGIE AND ME THINKS
*scandalized*
Maggie, darling, yes it was. ^_^ Not meant to be unkind, though. It is hard to give things French accent when you're speaking them in English sentences.
