short for NaNoWriMo which is short for National Novel Writing Month. People try in November to write a 50,000 word novel in the span of that one month.
Except it's kind of international, now. I heard about it from someone in Australia, and now people in the UK and Europe and the US and Canada and all over are doing it.

Managed to get down 926 words in the free 25 minutes in my webpage design class...but then my grandmother took me out to lunch so I've got to get going again...ahhh!!! EEEE!!! YAYYY!

I think I might do that...if her brother is dying in a coma, and she absolutely adores him, it would explain why she sells her soul to save him...yes!
My character is going to kill me. But it's not my fault that her name is Cassie Bomb. It was her mother's fault, when she was influenced by me and I was influenced by my friends, who...think of weird things.
Edit: *hits 1,000 words and lets out a cheer*

You know, Bard, I'm thinking that Giry's there because she's pissed at him for generally being an all around ass. I don't think she's there because he wants to show her Littel Raoul. Besides, Percy would kill him. *Checks icon* I would kill him.
It seems like a lot of us are doing Nano! Hurray! I was having major plot issues, until I decided to combine two of my stories together, and rip off lines Alexander's been using in the Sueniverse.
Which might actually work, although I'm not sure how I'm going to throw in the "ceiling fan" episode.

Things that don't make sense:
1) Making a "Highlights of The Nutcracker" CD and leaving off the Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy. I mean, sure, I mostly wanted the Arabian and Russian dances anyway so it's not like I'm upset about the loss of the song, but isn't that bizarre?
I just thought you might all be interested in knowing that.
