((Perfect.))
"Of course, I won't keep you." He said, rather amused by her response but just managing not to show it.
He waited a moment after she left before also exiting the library. He did not doubt that they would speak again.

**NEW NIGHT**
Johannes lay in the rafters of the library with a large book written in Latin and inhaled as the dust of the old book filled his nostrils.
It was just another guilty pleasure.

One of the bonuses to being human again, Daniel had found, was that he had a LOT more time to blow in the library. True, he couldn't read books as fast as he had as a vampire, but he didn't really mind reading at a slower pace. It just meant that he spent that much longer here, in one of the few places he felt truly comfortable in.
He'd taken to spending entire days almost, lingering until closing when he often had to be chased-out by the night librarian, who was getting increasingly exasperated with him as a consequence. He didn't do it every day, of course, but already the morning and night librarians knew him by sight, if not by name.
Today was one of those days, and he was tucked away in a far corner, nose buried in a hefty volume about Norse Mythology.

Johannes, just happened to be in the rafters right above him. He hadn't noticed the man before, because he'd been so engulfed in the smell and sight of one of the few books this library kept in latin.
He leaned his head back against the rafter and inhaled again, the book on his chest, and he caught a smell. It was faint sure, but familiar, before it had been drenched in blood and sweat.
He looked down and blinked, it was that boy he'd met in the opium den, but he was a vampire then. Now he was...
"Human?" He dropped down in front of Daniel, probably scaring the crap out of the bookworm.

He jumped in his chair, cursing, as the vampire pretty much appeared out of nowhere. Smashed out of the reverie that reading so often pulled him in, he wasn't inclined to be friendly.
"How rude." He hissed.
Once the surprise wore off, and he recognized the man before him, he arched an eyebrow.
"Well, this is a surprise."

"You are telling me love" he fell back in to chair across from him, throwing both of his legs over the side "I'm sure you've got this enough but, you aren't the same color you were the last time we ran in to each other."

Daniel scowled, though more at the fact that he had to close the book (after marking his place, of course) than because of the subject Johannes had brought up.
"I had a run-in with someone who I would dearly like to see go up in flames--my being this way was his doing."

Johannes sniffed a little harder and frowned, oh god dammit, would he have to kill him hisself? "This being, wouldn't happen to be the foppiest fop that ever fopped fops would it?"
He almost rolled his eyes.

Daniel snickered.
"I love your description--it's quite apt. Which means yes."

Johannes clenched his chair and sighed "Oh Lestat, Lestat I should have killed you when I had the chance." He looked over at Daniel "I just felt so bad for him."

Well, that was an interesting statement.
"Hmmm? What do you mean?" He asked, intrigued in spite of himself.

"Mmmm" Johannes pouted "I didn't even tell our little friend Alex about this, yes I met him, no I didn't touch him, let's move on."
He'd told Alex that he didn't care to kill Lestat because he was sure he couldn't die. The truth was, he was sure he could kill him, he just had to isolate him. He however didn't want to take the repercussions of killing one of his own kind. Although, he was sure no one would much care if he killed Lestat.
"I knew Lestat many years ago, he was... pathetic really, wiling away in to nothingness, complaining about eternal damnation, yadaa, yaaadaaa. I thought he was all right at first, just another lost child" he rolled his eyes "until I found out he was older then me, and was actually just playing an angle. He was attempting to get at a friend, attempting to use me. But he was stupid, and ended up at the wrong end of the sunlight. Sadly he managed to get away, because I wasn't quick enough."
He groaned "Gooood I hate that man and you were such a good vampire."

Daniel showed no outward reaction to the mention of Alex, though within he was a bit peeved. He didn't dwell on that, however, as the subject of the conversation was on something else...something rather unpleasant.
"Interesting...I'd say, though I'm sure you don't need anyone to tell you, that you wouldn't get much protest if you destroyed him."
He heaved a sigh, idling twirling a lock of his hair between his fingers.
"You have no idea how much I miss being what I was."

"Mmm" he felt terrible for the boys situation, but he oh so HATED fledgelings, but Daniel knew about being a vampire.
He was in a pickle.
He sighed and lifted his head to the side, why the hell not. But he was getting something out of this, he wasn't going to turn someone just because they wanted it.
"I can do this for you, but I want something in return."
