"All you need, my friend, is a little education."

Teddy smiled. "I'd like that."

"Come with me, then," *he said, standing.* "This place is far too tame for my tastes."

Teddy stood up a little hesitantly. He wasn't sure if he was going into this too quickly. After all, he'd never... really been with a man before, and he was pretty sure that that was what Dorian wanted. However, he pushed those thoughts away and decided that he was ready.
"Alright. Lead the way, sir."

*Dorian smiled angelically and led Teddy out of the coffeehouse. For a moment he deliberated as to whether he should take the boy straight to the inn or somewhere else. The inn, he decided, would be easiest, as he didn't want to put too much trouble into this. He expected not to see the boy again after today, after all.*

*new night*
There weren't many customers tonight. In fact, there weren't any at all- not immediately visible ones, at least. There was a good reason for that, too- it was storming outside. Lightning cracked through the sky and thunder split it, and the rain came down in buckets. It had been storming all evening, and had yet to show any signs of stopping. If not for the reputaton the cafe tried to retain so hard- of being easily accessible, of being high-end and without the riff-raff of the common cafes- it might have been closed, with so little business. No one wanted to venture outdoors.
Besides, it was past midnight.
Except- one. The slim figure of a boy slipped through the doors, soaked through and thoroughly disgusted with it. He'd been out in the rain more than he'd wanted to be tonight, but his mood had been a little sweetened by the fact that he'd been able to scare someone out of their wits.
...And did that sound pathetic or what? Armand raked his hair out of his eyes, the wet curls plastering themselves to his face. The water darkened his hair to a richer red and made him look like a drowned rat further emphasized his pale skin and dark eyes.
He looked impatiently about for a server. Would a place like this have towels?

*At the sound of the door, Dorian looked up from his drink. He'd left a group of acquaintances gathered in a private room to order more coffee when Armand entered the establishment. His friends, he decided almost instantly, could wait. This was an opportunity he wasn't going to pass up.*
"Dripping on the carpet, are we?" *He tutted with false disdain.* "How terribly vulgar of you, my friend."

Armand sent Dorian an incredibly venemous look. Of all the people...
He was indeed dripping on the carpet. Water was sliding down his skin and falling off his clothes in faint little plops. Armand blinked as some water ran into his eye, and screwed his face up in irritation.
"Shouldn't you be in bed?" he asked haughtily.

*Dorian gave him a charming grin.*
"Are you offering?" *Dorian asked innocently.*

"No." came the curt reply. Armand moved forwards, out of the entryway some more, and past Dorian to the counter, where he ordered coffee.

*Dorian sat at a nearby table, and watched Armand as he ordered. He even felt a little sympathy for the vampire- he looked like a drowned rat.*
"Care to join me? I promise I won't bite," *he said, his face a picture of angelic innocence.*

Armand held the coffeecup in both hands, warming them up, and eyed the chair Dorian was offering dubiously.
"I wouldn't want to get it wet," he murmured, but his protest was half-hearted. He cast another side-long glance to the server, who was watching him in a distinctly warning sort of way. Armand smiled, in a wry, thin-lipped sort of way, and sat down, just to see the server twitch.
He didn't say anything, though. How very well-trained he was.

*Dorian laughed at the servers discomfort.*
"Terrible of you to torment the staff so," *he said with a smirk.* "Caught in the storm, were you? Or did you decide to take a dip in the Seine?"

Dorian's comments drew Armand's attention back to the mortal. "That's completely unnecessary," he informed Dorian. "Yes, I was caught in the storm. Obviously." Looking down at his cup, he tapped his fingers on the polished surface. "And how did you escape the same fate? Have you been here all evening?"

"I was with a few friends in another room," *he said.* "But I've since found much more interesting company."
