Adrien pushed Aideen away with quite a bit of force as he gave her a cold, stony look.
"I am not a man of patience, as you will soon discover, Miss Aideen. As such, 'soon enough' simply does not cut it for me," he hissed. "I will provide housing, shelter, whatever you prefer to call it. Just ensure that you leave the profession completely behind you by the end of this month. And no later."
The Snow Prince affected a smile. "Now, leaving that matter behind, what would you wish to do next?"

Aideen's smile left her face "I will attempt for the end of the month, sir." She turned from him in a huff and back to the horses. "Personally I could go for a drink."

Adrien laughed, throwing his head back. "You were absolutely correct. Although I may have taken your soul, you remain completely unaltered, as if I had taken nothing in the first place.
"A drink? That sounds rather appealing to me. Well, then let us leave immediately." The man took Aideen's hand and they disappeared in a flurry of snow.
((To the bar!))

*Katie Scarlett walked into the stables, smiling at the sight of the beautiful animals. She paused to pat a big bay with a wide blaze* You're a handsome one, huh, baby boy? Is that right? *She planted a kiss on his nose*
((Me: *sniffles* I need to go visit Outlaw! I haven't seen him in ages!))

Fitz, who had just been using one of the horses and was heading home, heard Katie. He walked up to her and smiled. "Hello," he greeted.

*She looked up quickly with a smile, braiding the horse's forelock* Hi! How are you, shug?

He sighed. "Well, to be honest, it could be better."

*Her face fell slightly and she dropped the horse's forelock* What's wrong, hon?

"My half-sister's mother is dying, and I promised to take care of the little girl," he explained, looking down.

Oh my goodness! *She put a hand to her heart* I'm so sorry, shug. Do you need any help? I like kids. And half-sister's mothers.

He chuckled warmly. "Thank you. I'll be sure to keep that in mind if I ever do need help. But how are you?"

Don't hesitate if you ever need help, shug. I'm available any hour of the day and night. *She smiled* But I've been doin' just fine. It's been quiet.

"Well, that's always a good thing." He searched desparately for something else to say. This was why he never talked to girls! "So... it's a fine day today, isn't it?" He hated himself for being so cliché.

*Her smile widened slightly and she began to unbraid the forelock* It certainly is, shug. We've had some very nice weather recently. *She shot him a dazzling smile, then focused on rebraiding the horse's forelock*

He looked at the horse she was petting. "Do you like to ride?" he asked.
