Oh yes, definitely more than an aquaintance, Helga thought with a smile.
"Aziraphale...You must be lucky to have such a special friend," Helga replied, hoping her voice wouldn't give away the fact that she, well...knew. He probably doesn't want me to know anyway.

Dammit, she totally knows. His face turned a few shades redder. "Just... don't tell anyone, alright? I mean, its pretty unlikely you'd run into Beelzebub or someone, but just as a general rule, don't."

"Oh, don't worry, I completely understand. My lips are sealed," Helga assuered, making an exaggerated motion of zipping her lips and throwing the key.

He grinned. "Thanks. I probably don't seem very demonic right now, do I?"

Helga smiled. "Not really. But you have given me hope," Helga replied. It was true. If a demon could find love, then there should be nothing keeping her from finding her father! Oh wait...money, right.
"By the way, were you serious when you said you could find my father?"

He cringed inwardly—he really wasn't supposed to give people hope. Too much time with that bloody angel, he thought. "I can, but I'm not supposed to do it for free."

Helga bit her lip. She knew it was a fat chance, but she had to try, right?
"Right. And there's nothing else you can do? I understand if you can't, but..."

He shook his head. "Sorry. But my offer still stands, you know. I could get you some money, and I'd even escort you to your father's home."

Helga crossed her arms and thought. What difference would it make? If I'd get to meet my father, then what was an eternity as a demon? She knew it was a mistake in the long run, and probably a big one. But look at Crowley! He didn't seem to have any regrets. And to be honest, after all she had been through, she couldn't see herself making it all the way to those pearly white gates. She had seen to much to be truly good and innocent.
"Before I agree to anything, I want to know what it entails. What exactly will I be doing after I die?"

"Well, normally you'd end up being barbecued in one of the pits, but I think I could convince my superiors to give you a position." Well, probably not, but it was still possible, right?

"You're turning me away already. What exactly is the chance of you actually getting me a position?"

"Well, at the moment, not so good," he admitted. "But we do have a lifetime to change that. You just need to prove that you'd be good at it, and I need to be a little more, well, bad to make up for the Armageddon That Wasn't."

Helga weighed her chances. Well, she did have magic on her side to help with 'proving herself.' And, to be honest, she was sick and tired of being on her own. And if she ended up burning in hell, at least she will have met her father.
"Well then, what the hell. If you agree to help me prove my...'bad side', then I except your offer."

Crowley smiled like a snake. "Exssssellent," he hissed. A scroll adorned with demonic sigils appeared in one of his hands, and in the other was a quil with a very sharp point. "Jusst ssssign in blood here," he said, pointing to a line with an X beside it.

Helga grabbed the quil and pricked her finger, signing her name without another thought.
