*Philippe climbed up the steps to the Operahouse, leaning lightly on his cane. He walked into the foyer and looked around, a small sigh escaping his lips.*Here, I thought I missed you but I do not feel joy and return

*Madame Giry shuffled through a pile of papers as she made her way through the foyer. Looking up, she stopped short with a puzzled look.*
"Monsieur le Comte?" *she asked in astonishment.*

*Philippe turned to see the ballet mistress he had met before his departure. He summoned a smile to his face and moved to wards her, his cane tapping lightly on the floor.*

Quite well thank you. I have had some times of...illness but I am quite recovered now.*As he spoke Philippe felt a twinge of pain in his old injury and shifted his weight onto his stronger foot.* And yourself, do you still hold your position here?

I am pleased. It has been long since I have seen an Opera.*Philippe smiled in memory of the world of music and dance that he loved to inhabit if only for a few moments.Snapping back into himself he quickly realised that he had been silent far longer than was proper.*Forgive me Madame, I was in a world of my own.

*Philippe felt vague memories of the way return to him but he decided not to abandon himself to the twisting passages of the Operahouse.* You help would be very welcome Madame.*Philippe held his cane in his right gloved hand and offered the left to Madame Giry.* Shall we proceed?.
