"Señor" he sighed and sat up, looking quite like a small bear "the next big pregunta es whether or not young Ricardo will even want to go with you. I do not doubt that he is going to want to get away from here, John and Mary they- they had been talking about moving home to-" he wracked his brain for a moment, trying to remember the name of the city "-Gotham, si, they had been talking about moving back to Gotham, it was getting too dangerous in Paris."
He laughed darkly "Jesús Cristo."
Running a hand through his hair and tried to remain calm "How about we go see him? It's been an aproximadamente una hora, you may have some luck."

"Of course. It's ultimately up to him. I thought I'd give him another option."
He gestured for the Ring Master to lead the way. Maybe, he thought, it might help that he was from Gotham, as well. He hoped that something would convince the boy. He hated to see someone head in the same direction he'd gone.

He lead Bruce out of the tent and headed toward the dressing room, when they got there however Dick was missing. He didn't hide his fear and and turned to Bruce with a frown "Let's try his trailer."
Luckily when they got to the Grayson's trailer, they found Dick sitting on the small porch.
"Ricardo" he damn near whispered at the boy.
Dick was crying still, his eyes puffy and red from the rubbing and his lips were quivering. He felt like a child and when he saw the ringmaster, he couldn't help but launch himself in to his large arms.
"Tu va a estar bien, hijo" he knew that Dick spoke enough spanish that he'd get what he was trying to say.
"I know, I know" Dick replied, not seeing Mr. Wayne there until the last moment "Mr-Mr. Wayne, I-"
"Ricardo it's okay, Mr. Wayne is here to talk to you."
Dick tried to reign in his emotions, but it was damn near impossible "I-shit, okay."

He gave Dick all the time he needed to try and pull himself together. Bruce wasn't here to rush anything.
"You don't mind if I sit?" Bruce asked, gesturing at the other chair on the small porch.

Dick waved his hand like his parents always did, to show that it was fine.
He turned to the ringmaster.
"If you want me to stay hijo-"
"Está bien, gracias" Dick assured him and touched the large mans arm as gently as he could, before turning to sit in the chair across from Mr. Wayne.
The big man nodded to them both and headed back toward his tent.
"There's something you need Mr. Wayne?"

"I hate to bring this up, I know how awful it is right now, but I was worried: do you have other family you can go to?"
Bruce very clearly recalled how much he'd wanted to shut out every single adult that tried to talk to him about related matters. He'd understand if the boy brushed him off or got irritated by his question.

"I-" Dick's lip quivered as he attempted to keep himself contained. His parents were dead he saw them, he saw them killed he - but so had Mr. Wayne. He realized in that moment the man was here out of actual concern, he out of everyone at that circus knew his pain. He felt the anger resurface, but not toward Bruce.
"No, no I have nobody, an aunt maybe? I don't know" he swallowed "w-why?"

"It's all up to you, but you could have a home at Wayne Manor. It's a bit too big of a house to have only two people in it."

Dick was shocked, he didn't even know him, he didn't know anything about him and the stress of the day only resulted in him breaking down again.
He couldn't stay at the circus, not after this, he could go home to Gotham he'd be homeless, he had nowhere else to go and here in the midst of everything was a piece of home offering him the world.

Quietly, Bruce dug a tissue out of his pocket and held it out to the boy.

Dick took it and wiped his eyes "Thank - thank you so much Mr. Wayne. I don't- I don't know how I'll ever repay you-"

"There's nothing to repay. Just do your best, and know that there's someone who can understand your situation around if you ever need to talk. And it won't be just me, there's also Alfred."
Even just mentioning Alfred made Bruce smile. He was one of the few people capable of doing that these days.

"Alfred?" He tried choking back his tears, but found his chest felt full and tight. "Who's- who's- Alfred?"
Dick had never had a panic attack before, Dick didn't know that's what was happening as he clutched his chest; he figured he was dying.
It figures he thought as he began hyperventilating.

Bruce started to answer, but seeing the signs, stopped in the middle of what he was going to say and instead placed a hand on Dick's shoulder.
"Dick? Breath slowly, Dick. Count to five and breathe in slowly, then do the same when you breathe out."
((I actually looked up how to handle a panic attack for this. That's why I love the 'verse. I've actually learned new things because of it.))

((As a real life person who has panic attacks, this is legit XD))
"I'm- I'm- I'm-" he was breathing but his lungs weren't holding enough air, he wanted to stop breathing, stop being conscious, but he listened to Mr. Wayne's voice and tried to count "5-" he realized he was falling to the floor but he couldn't stop himself, nothing he did was making sense "4-" he was down on his hands and knee's but kept counting, focusing on the numbers seemed to help.
