"Oh, good! When do you think I should do that?"

"Well Wednesday's are the only day I don't have to do the last showing, so then's good" he smiled, glad to have made at least one damn friend out of this whole thing.

She nods thoughtfully.
"I have that day off. I can buy everything the day before and then start on it the next day."
Already, she was thinking of what to make.
"Oh! Are you allergic to anything?"

"Other than my moms cooking, nothing."

She covered her mouth with her hand, trying to hide her surprised giggle.
"Oh, dear...well, okay. I didn't want to accidentally poison you. I'd never forgive myself."

He smirked catching the giggle "I'm sure it'll be fine."
He heard his name being called from the big top and sighed "Only woman in the world that doesn't need a bullhorn."

She winced at the noise. She'd been called in by her parents before, sure, but this was rather...loud.
"I guess that means you have to go now." She said, trying to hide her disappointment. It'd been nice to talk to someone new who wasn't a crazy person.

"Yea" he leaned up and extended his hand "it was nice to meet you, wasn't sure if I told you that yet."

She took the offered hand and gave it a delicate shake.
"It was nice to meet you, too. And don't forget dinner!"

"I've got it penciled in" he tapped his temple with a smirk and there was another yell from the big top. Dick rolled his eyes, but laughed "Got to love them, see ya later" he walked toward the curtain and threw it open, did a back flip out of it and bowed as it closed.
Of course, he jogged back to where his mother was standing impatiently, but with a smile; the fight was over and it was obvious she won.
"Where have you been kid?"
"Just making a friend."
"That's good" she replied happily "but it's back to work."
Dick smiled and opened the curtain for his mother to go in first.
Before heading in however, he looked back over his shoulder to try and catch a glimpse of Yaoya.

She followed shortly after, averting her eyes so as not to invade their privacy. Still, she felt a stab of envy--she missed her home and her family, even the arguments. Knowing she couldn't go back there, ever, was still an ache. No, I can't keep on that. Think of something nice you have here. Her new friend, that was a good thing. She glanced up, and seeing him still, gave him a little wave before heading to her trailer. She was working on a new kimono that had a fire motif that was really coming along nicely .
