But there wasn't any of the coyness Erin might have come to expect from him.

Dryly, "I'm honored. But d'you think you can stand to be seen with me in public?" But Erin was already moving, patting his back pocket to make sure his wallet was in place and then, after a second of thought, moving it to his front one so that it'd be harder to pick-pocket him.

Erin hesitated, then crooked his arm like he'd seen gentlemen do in movies. Well, he'd held Adrien's arm once before, even if technically he'd been half-asleep at the time-

Adrien grinned, not hanging off his arm like a lady but somehow managing to make it look chummy and Platonic, like a couple of gentlemen from an earlier era exiting a bar together in high spirits.

It was a nice day to walk, too. The streets they walked on to the restaurant weren't too crowded, either. "I want to sit outside," Erin informed Adrien as they went through the door.
