"Why's that love?"
"Because Amras always knew which colors to pick" he looked over at Herbert "he said it was cause he liked boys, I think it was cause he was just really a girl on the inside" she shook her head "I guess I'll go ask M. Lefu, thanks anyway." She turned and left almost as quickly as she came, leaving John and Herbert alone.

He turned the page and found an entry about the Fox sisters.

John picked up his book and set it on his lap, but it seemed his concentration was out the window. He sighed and attempted to read.

"Yes" John replied softly "wise beyond her years."
He wrote down some notes and turned the page.

"Most people don't" John laughed "my wife did however, so that's why we had Marie, but something happened and after Marie no matter how hard we tried-" he shook his head "this is unimportant, me blabbering on, excuse me for that."

John smiled "Well like I said after Marie we tried as hard as we could to have another child, we didn't want Marie to be alone. She needed someone to play with, but it just wasn't happening." He sighed "We were looking in to adopting when the revolution began."
