Sunflower didn't know that Spike was a vampire, she couldn't tell, mostly because well, she'd never seen a vampire before. She'd seen some weird stuff during the revolution, but no vampires. This being said, she'd never met, what could be called a "bad boy" either.
So it came as a shock to her when she found herself a bit fluttery as he talked.
No matter the situation, no matter the urgency, there was always time to blush for a cute boy.

*Spike seemed rather pre-occupied (sadly missing any fluttering that might be occurring.)*
“S’ppose then, I mean…can’t just muss about.” *Anyone who knew Spike knew that he was much more likely to help if there was something in it for him. Though right now, he was just hoping that they weren’t headed out to kill Buffy. Or that Buffy wasn't off necking with whatever big bad might be associated with this Maria. If there was trouble, Buffy would eventually show. It was like a law of nature. He glanced down to the swords she held.*
“Don’t s’ppose you’ve got one of those for me…” *He worked better with his hands, but being stuck as a human had some major setbacks. Led a fellow to want something more pointy between himself and the baddie.*

Knowing Spike because of the show, if not personally, Sarah said:
"Thank you so much. I'll really owe you one for this."
She held out one of the swords to Spike.
"Absolutely you can have one."

“Uh, sure.” *Spike answered, taking the blade from her. It seemed heavier than it should be and for a moment, he worried if he would be much help after all. But then he reminded himself that he was still William the Bloody and he was bloody well going to kick some ass.*
“So…where’s this tart you’re looking for?”

Sunflower reached in to her pocket and removed a large dagger she had stolen from Versailles and held it tightly in front of her.
"We dunno."

But then, just like that, Sarah did know. Through an old connection that had been dormant for a very long time, she sensed where Maria was.
"She's outside the city, in the grass fields."
Her grip tightened on the sword.
"Jay's with her."

She colored a little bit.
"I...have some abilities."

*Spike’s brow raised at the revelation, but it was hardly anything new in his book.*
“Right then. Which way to…wherever this is?”
*He was ready for business. Though it was good to know there were at least two of them.*

"Yeah, I sort of am."
She turned to Spike.
"This way. It's a pretty straight shot from here..."
As she spoke, she headed for the door.

"That's awesome" Sunflower smiled.

*Spike shrugged characteristically, as if to get his game face on. Though being human, he of course no longer had one. But it didn’t seem to phase him as he fell in step behind them.*

**NEW DAY**
This was, she'd learned, the first location in Paris her mother had come to. And it was the same for herself--right after arriving, she'd headed straight for the address that she'd committed to memory, though she still had it in her iphone for safekeeping.
It felt strange, being here. Paris was...home, but yet, this one was not. She had to remind to herself just how much was different, now, than what she remembered. With her bag still slung over one shoulder, she paused in the middle of the lobby, glancing about. It was kept-up, but yet...it didn't seem as though anyone was here.
"Hello?"
The silence that surrounded her was rather odd.
