*Norman strode in and affixed his announcement--for the "new" Bates Motel--to the bulletin board in the hallway. They would open again, and with a niche, they'd succeed.*

After everything had happened The Emcee found a way to perform.
"I dedicate zis to luf"
The lights dimmed down on him, wearing what could be called the most gawdy dress in cabaret history.
"I don't care much, Go or stay, I don't care very much Either way.
Hearts grow hard On a windy street. Lips grow cold With the rent to meet. So if you kiss me, If we touch, Warning's fair, I don't care Very much.
I don't care much, Go or stay, I don't care very much Either way.
Words sound false When your coat's too thin Feet don't waltz When the roof caves in So if you kiss me, If we touch, Warning's fair, I don't care very much.
I don't care."

*Norman watched the performance for awhile, wondering why the performers were all human. Shrugging, he checked his notice again and went home.*
