Continued from: The Tower of London***BACK AT THE HOTEL*** Jess got back to the hotel before Bruce did, and that was the plan, she knew in her head they thought she was dead. She gathered up what she needed, which wasn't much, a couple dollars some warms coats and a bag. She knew Bruce would see the stuff missing, but hoped he didn't. But he would. She left the hotel quickly, hiding under a large coat and hood, stopping for a moment she looked up in to the sky and started to cry. The snow was falling down harder than before and she couldn't stop it. The beast had taken the rest of her sueauthor powers, she was just a normal character in her own storyline. She couldn't ever show her face at Wayne manor again, she couldn't take refuge at Snape's, after all she just tried to kill him. She herself was trying to figure out what Queen Dopplepoplus's whole point was in that, but none of it made sense. "Of course it doesn't" she whispered as she moved in to an alleyway "it was my personality, when did I ever make sense?" Wiping her eyes the only thing she could think of was Bruce. He'd hate her, she knew he would, he wouldn't understand, he'd never understand. She wrapped her arms around her chest and disappeared in to the night.

**NEW DAY**
Adrien was clinging to Adrian's arm everywhere that they went, in awe and a little confused and near-frightened by everything. When they got into the hotel room he practically collapsed onto the bed, stunned.
"Did you see how many photographers there were? How do they find you?"

"It's simple. I had to make a call for landing space, someone at the airport revealed I was coming. And furthermore, I bought two tickets to Les Miserables at the Barbican tonight, and I'm afraid that required a bit of string-pulling in itself-"

"Ohhh, I will be so happy - what will we do until it opens?" His eyes were sparkly and his hand was up near his mouth as though to cover it, clearly excited.

"Oh - I don't mind," he said loyally, reaching out for Adrian to take his hands.

Dinner was taken in the hotel suite, and afterward Adrian went to dress for the theater and sent Adrien to do the same.

Adrien was somehow flamboyant without even being half so much as Adrian was. He took less time to dress, also, and hesitated in the doorway, exquisitely done up and petite and pretty and looking at Adrian with solemnly lovestruck eyes, worried that he was overdresed, or that he'd trip in public, that somehow or other he wouldn't be worthy of being Adrian's arm trophy in the eyes of the public, Adrian, or himself.

He flocked over to him and tremulously took his arm.
"I'm fine? I look all right? You can't see my bruise?"
