John thought about that for a moment.
"You know...you're right. Could be helpful for disguise purposes. Or...even acting."

Harry laughed. "I suppose," he said. "Oh, Henry would mind terribly. But I don't think there's anything terribly wrong with any of us. Ivy seemed decent enough, and you've been a right gentleman so far. What difference does it make? It'd take some unorthodox relationships to make it happen, I suppose..." He trailed off musing. But that wasn't the issue. He wondered why he was here, unless it was just the stress of being Jekyll all the time that had made his body shift into the person who seemed to handle that better. Not that he minded.

John chuckled.
"Poor Henry. If only he'd be a bit more open-minded about that like Lucy is. I can tell she'd actually 'get a kick' out of switching between me and herself if there wasn't a Lucille to worry about."

Harry laughed again. He seemed to laugh a lot. Not at anyone's expense, and not overbearingly--he just seemed to have a sort of chuckle in his voice. "Henry's basic trouble comes from being quite a good man--with a very closed mind about what constitutes 'goodness.' Especially in himself." He shrugged. "But I'm here now, and I'm wasting time. I say you explore those avenues you mentioned. Do you need a partner, or would that be more dangerous for you?"

He nodded at Harry's words on Henry.
"It might be dangerous to you if you come along. I could vouch for myself, but some of them might see you as fresh game."

"I feared as much," Harry said. "Seems intriguing, though. Well, you're likely right. I'll do what I can here."

"Well, once again, I bid you adieu. Hopefully this time I can find something more concrete."

Harry smiled, extending a hand to place it on Harris's shoulder. "Thank you," he said. "And be safe."

"You, too." The Lucy in him wanted to hug Harry, but instead he opted for clapping the other man on the shoulder before heading back out .

Harry, of course, would not have minded John's hug, genuinely given. Or much else, for that matter. Henry was a different matter, but he wasn't here right now.
Whistling, he returned to his work, quite as clever as Jekyll but with much less self-consciousness to get in the way.

**LATER**
Lucy had hurriedly led Crane to the apartment, trying not to run but very nearly doing that anyway. The faster they could finish this mess, the better.

((Sorry, am waiting on Alan... But I can probably fudge that.))

Jekyll had returned only moments before, the box of chemicals and supplies under his arm. He was just sorting through them, pondering on his recent acquaintance, when Lucy and another gentleman burst in.
"Lu--Miss Harris," he said. "Are you quite all right?"

"I found 'nother scientist, like I promised." She said, a bit out of breath.
"I told 'im 'bout th' weird problem we 'ave."
She gestured at Crane.
"This's Dr. Crane."

Jekyll glanced over Dr. Crane, concealing most of his concern but nonetheless disturbed. Did she trust this man? He was very young.
"Dr. Crane," he said, only a slight strain in his voice. He extended his hand. "I am Dr. Henry Jekyll." He glanced again at Lucy. "I hope Miss Harris did not alarm you overmuch."
