"Yeah, well you won't get bored here, that's for sure," *she said.*
*She gave a reassuring smile.*
"It's not all bad, though."

*He glanced around at the visible buildings near them, wondering just what lay beyond them*
"So long as there is some good, right?"

*She saw his discomfort and frowned.*
"Sorry, I didn't mean to freak you out or anything."
*The suethor decided that they've kept walking the whole conversation, so it wasn't a surprise when Renn turned, leading the two of them down a street toward the main square, where the streets were more crowded and there was more light.*

*He sighed*
"It's all right. I'm going to be a bit...out of sorts for a while, I think.
SO, what is a good first place to visit?"

"Well, most people wind up at the opera house, eventually. But that can be kind of overwhelming. We'll skip that, for now."
*She looked around the square.*
"How about something to eat? I know a cafe that has fantastic pastries."

*He smiled*
"Oh, thank you, but I'm not hungry--Emily already took care of that."

"Fair enough," *she said.* "I'd invite you to the house, but I think der Tod's there so... yeah. There's, um..."
*She hadn't done enough sightseeing.*
"There's always the eiffel tower."

*He almost said it was all right, if she wanted to go home. While in the main he'd rather avoid der Tod, part of him wanted to see him, to talk to him, to finally settle things once and for all. But it was a meeting he loathed to have--he knew it wouldn't go well, not at all.
Realizing he hadn't said anything for a few moments, he quickly filled the silence*
"The Tower sounds good enough to me."

"Sure. I actually haven't been there yet," *she said with bright smile.*
((Awaaaay!))

**NEW DAY**
Julius walked down the street, his hands planted firmly behind his back, he felt stir crazy, an emperor should not be withheld within the confines of a foreign city!

One could imagine that Tybalt had somewhere very important to go as he strode through the city. He walked purposefully and smoothly through the streets, though really, he was only walking to think, and avoiding going to see Meg again. She said she'd wanted to see him, but he couldn't for the life of him figure out why.

It was really to his disadvantage that Tybalt seemed to consistantly walk down streets on which Mercutio lurked; or rather, Mercutio spent more time out than he ever did in his tiny rented room, he found the Parisian streets full of dazzling opportunity, and also, he'd never learned when to back off or avoid conflict. Those were the dangerous combinations that led to the ginger figure suddenly at Tybalt's side, bumping into him deliberately to make him slow his rapid, purposeful pace.

"Oh, it's you," Tybalt said with a sneer as he effortlessly regained his footing. (He'd learned a thing or two from constant street fighting since childhood.) But of course it would be Mercutio. Who else would go out of their way to pester him.

"Yeah, greetings," Mercutio said, not particularly expecting the rough treatment to knock Tybalt over but pleased it'd forced him to pause. "Haven't seen you in a while, you know, I pine. How has my little princeling been?" Hint of alcohol on his breath, in between his lightly mocking words- Mercutio had never been one to mind personal space.
