After the day's meeting had concluded, Adrian retired to his hotel suite, where he ordered room service for himself and a certain boy who obligingly agreed to stay out of sight of the door while the food was brought up.
As soon as dinner had been delivered, Adrian started unpacking it on the table.
"Adrien, it's here."

Adrien slipped out halfway, smiling in the doorway and clinging to the doorknob shyly.
"So how was business today," he asked pleasantly.

He sat down and waited for Adrien to join him.

Which he did, still smiling shyly, pausing as though going to sit beside Adrian, and then sitting across from him, one leg folded under him in the chair.
"I can only think about one thing at a time," he said, dishing up. "I have to sacrifice a lot of other things I'd like to be thinking about in order to think about you all day, but I do."

Adrian took a small bite and leaned back in his chair a bit. He looked tired, and this was only emphasized by the fact that he was still wearing his reading glasses from the meeting.

He said rather casually, not even really staring at him or looking up, cutting something on his plate, "You look lovely in those."
