They weren't but a few yards out of the park when Tsuzuki veered abruptly to the left, apparently following his nose. The air did smell good- he'd found a street vendor. Some things never changed, he was delighted to see, in Japan or in France, and he bounced up to the cart grinning.

((Ooh, new avatar! Purty. I miss the old signature, though. Also, sorry I didn't see this earlier. I was looking in Establishments.))
"Hotdogs. OK, that stretches the definition of 'real food' a little, but sure. Um, a burger please? Just onions."

(( I found a ton of pretty new avatars that make me sorry I can't use them all at once, so maybe there'll be another, similar sig [made entirely out of icons ^_^] soon. )
"It is real food," Tsuzuki argued, who'd already paid for his and was half-way through gnawing happily on his second hotdog. "Real Western food. Just like at baseball games!"

Sylar just laughed a little, then took a bite out of his burger to keep from having to talk.
It tasted awful.

If Tsuzuki's was also bad, he didn't seem to notice, munching away happily. A moment later, and he'd moved on to his own burger, which he devoured with just as much pleasure as he had anything else.
There might as well have been a little blinking sign reading HORRIBLE SENSE OF TASTE hovering over his head.

((ROFL. That's the real danger of too many sweets.))
Sylar ate about half of his burger before surreptitiously dumping the rest in a trashcan, and watched in bemusement (well, mostly bemusement) as Tsuzuki licked his fingers.

(( All I gotta say is, maybe Sylar better remember this if Tsuzuki ever offers to cook for him. )) The vendor had not provided napkins, which was really a shame, but, well, Tsuzuki improvised. " Much better," he said, beaming. "I'm full." He patted his stomach gently.

((Lol! Oh, Tsuzuki.))
"Um, yeah. Me too." My appetite is gone, anyway.

"Oh?" Tsuzuki regarded him through narrowed eyes, smiling just a little. "...think you still have room for dessert?"
A pause before he started laughing at the expression on Sylar's face- "Only joking!"

He tried not to look too relieved. "Uh, maybe later. And from somewhere else." He glanced up, and was surprised to see a tinge of pink in the sky. "Wow. It's getting late. How'd that happen?"

"Hmmm?" Tsuzuki glanced up too. "Oh, I guess that was dinner, then." That afternoon'd gone by fast.

Sylar pouted. "But... but I'm not ready for the day to be over! How dare the sun go down when I want it to stay up?"

Tsuzuki gave him a lopsided, hesitantly pleased sort of smile, looking back up at the sky again. "Maybe it knows Paris looks better from the air at night."

Sylar returned the smile. "Is that so?" He wouldn't ask, mustn't ask, but wouldn't refuse an offer.
