Full Name: Nessarose Thropp (Her Eminence) Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? Wicked (both the book and musical) Age: Late 20s Height: 5'3" upright (in slippers) Weight: 108 lbs. Build: Frail, armless Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Nationality: Munchkinlander, raised in Quadling Country Job: Wicked Witch of the East Personality: Emotionally unstable, at times insanely fanatical, resentful, but very intelligent Life Story (as much as you want us to know): Here. Honestly, though, read the book and watch the musical. They're worth it.

((Shiny! I've never seen the musical, but I love the book. Is Nessarose much different between them? I hear a lot is. There's a Fiyero on here from the musical, and looking at his profile, I couldn't help but think "WTF? No. Who is this person?" [/babble]))

((Heh, thanks! Yes, quite a bit has changed from the book to the musical; I actually do somewhat prefer the musical, for quite a few reasons (not the least of which is the happier ending), and Nessa has changed. For one thing, she's not armless in the musical, just wheelchair-bound, and she's kind of really obsessive over Boq.))

((Well, it would have been really difficult to show the book!disabilities on stage. I... probably wouldn't like the musical much, purely because of They Changed It Now It Sucks. I'm sure it doesn't suck, at all, but I'm pretty change-resistant.))

((Naturally. Normally, I am, too, but as much as I enjoyed the book, there were a few moments that were disturbing (the club scene springs readily to mind, as does the Clock of the Time Dragon...). Nonetheless, I enjoyed both so much that this is a combination--she's crazily religious, and armless, but also is in a wheelchair, and wants Boq back.))

((I felt that being disturbing was kind of the point, but YMMV. Is she... not religious in the musical? *boggles*))

((Quite. And, that's right--they kind of left out the whole religion aspect in the musical, probably because the musical was sort of a sidestory to the film, whereas the book addressed the actual book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.))

((Well, it was supposed to be, anyway. I've never read the original, but I've heard stuff about a second Good Witch and Dorothy being younger, blah blah blah, which wasn't mentioned in Wicked.))
