Full Name: Richand Chainy
Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? Original (suited to Steampunk!Phantom)
Age: 21
Height: 5’10’
Build: Toned, but lithe. He cuts nice lines in a suit. On the rare occasion he has to wear one anyways.
Hair: Dark with expressive locks
Eyes: Pensive and chocolate, very inviting
Nationality: British
Job: A tailor and propmaker for the Opera, Richard invents on the side.
Personality: Full of boyish charm, Richard is wholesome and endearing, wanting to improve the world around him in any way he can, no matter how small. He’s full of hope and ideas, creative and hard-working. He can be a little skiddish and naïve, and perhaps a bit OCD. He just calls it perfectionism. He likes to be proud of his work.
Life Story (as much as you want us to know): His mother died in childbirth (as did his baby sister) and his father was left a single parent. He worked hard to provide for Richard, but it didn’t leave much time for familial bonding, nor did his father have a way with children. So Richard grew up a lot on his own, tinkering and building things to entertain himself and try to earn the approval of his distant father. He tended to keep to himself though he was never bad with other children.
Taken in as a tailor’s apprentice (at the recommendation of his father, that he might have the potential for a proper employment) Richard found that he enjoyed the task more than he’d expected. He got to create and to make people happy. It was a wonderful blending of the two. His attention to detail and hard work earned him regard in the community and he was hired to create for a local London theater. He was successful for several seasons, but then without warning or explanation, he gave notice and moved to Paris. There he was taken on by the Opera Populaire, where he is still working his way through the ranks.
