Full Name: Lumi Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? Fables via Hans Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen" Age: Immortal Appearance: "Tall and white, wrapped in furs", surrounded by snow wherever she goes Nationality: The Homelands; formerly, her palace in the mundane world was at Spitsbergen, Svalbard, Norway Job: Commander of the Emperor's forces Personality: Once naive and gentle, she is now cold, sharp and as cruel as frost, and with as much remorse. Life Story (as much as you want us to know): One of four sisters who embody the elements, Lumi was once kind, gentle and a good friend of Jack Horner (Jack of Fables). When she temporarily loaned him her powers, however, he subsequently abused them, at which point she also discovered that she was pregnant with his child. Now, she is a fierce sorceress and seeks to wipe out humanity and all Fables (that is, characters of fantasy) in the mundane world for her master, Gepetto. The original Andersen story is here.

"No. I suppose not. But neither am I pleased.
What has happened here while I have been gone planning things for this world?"

((Dude, I'd messed with the original Andersen story, wondering what would have occurred if the Snow Queen had conceived a child. I hadn't realized that this storyline was also--somewhat--present in Fables. Coincidence...I think not!))
"Nothing of consequence. The humans are as they always are--living out a dull, morbid existence. I've been convinced that it is up to us to change them of their ways.
"And what plans have you conceived?"

((That is kind of freaky. In a good sort of way. Almost some sort of Jungian thing there, huh?))
"That is unsurprising, truly. I'm afraid His Majesty, however, the Emperor, wishes them...gone, and the more troublesome Fables. I expect he shall spare you."

((I'm beginning to think so! Oh--and are you interested in some plot?))
"Spare me? There's no question of life or death here. I am, after all, your son."

((Surely!))
"This is so. But clearly you have never seen the Emperor in a temper."

"Indeed, almost all who are truly dangerous do."
