Full Name: Erin Lee Harper
Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? Original character in HP fandom
Age: 24
Height: 5'11
Weight: 164
Build: Athletic.
Hair: Blonde.
Eyes: Blue-grey.
Nationality: Welsh. He was born and raised in Newport until he went to Hogwarts.
Job: A Death Eater working as the flying instructor at Hogwarts who, through his own stupidity, ended up the Dark Lord daughter's bodyguard. Not that this last job is anything but a cover. Erin causes Mairead more grief than he protects her from.
Personality: Erin is rather stupid, in a typical bullying male way. He's also spiteful, secretive, outrageously flirtatious, suggestive, easily angered, a tad sadistic, easily bored, moody, and extremely opposed to being brutally killed by the Dark Lord for the slight misunderstanding of his and Mairead's first meeting, i.e. when he bit her. It was a misunderstanding anyone might make, after all, when she'd been in her unicorn animagus form moments before and might still be immortality-making. He wasn't to know she was the Dark Lord's daughter. Really, she'd over-reacted about the whole thing.
Life Story (as much as you want us to know): Erin is the second son of a semi-pure blood wizarding line of the Welsh Morgans (stop snickering, Teja) who are known both for their frequent Squibs and their tendency to support the highest power in a luke-warm sort of way. Erin's family is pro-Dark Lord. His oldest brother, Landis, is considerably higher than Erin is in the Death Eater hierarchy and determined to become the next Lucius Malfoy; Erin hates his brother with a burning passion reserved for no other sadistic bastard. His younger sister, Hannah, is a Squib. In a family vying for a high position in Voldemort's eyes she's their best-kept secret. On the flip side, Erin loves his younger sister fiercely, a subject of both embarrassment and extreme anxiety for him.
Rather the DE equivalent of cannon fodder, Erin was nevertheless chosen to take a position at Hogwarts because of his Quidditch background. There he met Mairead ó Fearghail, the Dark Lord's daughter, and through the previously-discussed incident became closer to her than either of them would have liked. He tormented the hell out her, she cast Cruciatus on him, they're probably even now, so Erin's bitterness has (mostly) dissolved. In so much as Erin is close to anyone, he is close to her, and grudgingly begun to like her. Oh, he's still nasty to her, but she knows of his sister now, too, and that's reason to keep Mairead close enough. And since she rejected his brilliant idea to be her love slave, he's had to settle for the title of bodyguard.
Naturally this means if she's involved in a dangerous mission to go into the past and kill the Dumbledores, he has to go with her. What else does he have to do? But now, he's beginning to regret it, for they sure as hell aren't where they're supposed to be.... (Or in Kansas, either. C'mon, I know you were all thinking it.)
Note: This Erin really has very little in common with circus!Erin other than their shared names and family set-up. He does, however, have some traits I pull with Mercutio on a regular basis, just nastier.
