Full Name: Montmorency
Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? Montmorency novels (leaving canon after the first book)
Age: Late twenties, probably
Height: Average
Weight: Average
Build: Fit and leading a good life
Hair: Short and dark
Eyes: Dark
Nationality: British
Job: "spy"
Personality: Gentle, just, enjoying the new life of riches, has a sense of adventure and cares for what he has in fear of losing it
Life Story (as much as you want us to know): Little is known about Montmorency's youth, but seeing as he became a criminal it probably wasn't much fun.
Fleeing from a crimescene with his loot in a bag, he fell through a glass skylight and dropped into a meat grinder. More dead than alive he was taken into custody and a young doctor took care of him, using his mangled body to learn more about healing and surgery. Montmorency survived prison, but was badly scarred, both from the accident itself and from the Doctor's experiments.
When he got out of prison, he decided he'd get a new life by means of the newly constructed London sewers. Using an alter ego, Scarper, to do the bad deeds (robbing the rich and disappearing through the tunnels), he lived in a hotel for a while and got used to his new life as Montmorency. After a year or so he met Lord Fox-Selwyn who introduced him even more into the life of a gentleman and even landed him a "job" as a spy.
Montmorency likes opera, fine clothing and whisky, and is prone to addiction, though he tries to fight it. He abandoned Scarper because he would be paid for being a spy, but the thug is always on the verge of breaking loose and plunging Montmorency into a couple hours of excitement.
