Full Name: Yann-Lucien Marcellin
Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? original character
Age: nearing 30
Height: taller than average
Weight: on the light side
Build: slender, slightly feminine
Hair: ash brown, shoulder length
Eyes: honey colored
Nationality: French
Job: writes and reads texts for the illiterate and otherwise literaticly less fortunate
Personality: shy and introvert, realizes he doesn't fit in that well anywhere, can suffer from outbursts of anger and tantrums. Goes nuts in libraries
Life Story (as much as you want us to know): Grew up in a smallish town in France. Taught himself to read by memorizing what the preacher read in church and then finding the bits in the bible himself. He retained everything he read perfectly (which made him forget about everything else) and he started to write his own stuff, composed from bits and snippets of the things he read.
Around the age of eight, the owner of the factory where his mother worked read one of the things Yann had written and nice man as he was he set out to really teach the boy how to read and write. He was allowed to help the man with his books and letters.
All was well until he hit puberty. Or rather, when he was supposed to hit puberty.
His younger brother became a man, but Yann stayed a boy. A tall boy, but still a boy. At the age of sixteen, he was definitely a freak and the teasing and later pestering started, led by his younger brother.
When the factory owner suddenly disappeared, Yann decided to follow, even though he didn't know where. The big city sounded pretty good, he could probably find a job there, writing stuff for people or even become a novelist.
So now Yann-Lucien is in Paris, renting a small office in a shabby building and reading and writing things for his customers. Because of his high voice, lack of body hair en slender, slightly feminine build, people think he is weird and he tries to hide it, at least when he's working, with a false beard and mustache and padded clothing. When he is off duty, he prefers to be himself, which has led to more than one mistake in assuming his gender.
Because of the bullying and the lack of muscle strength, he got really good with the knife to defend himself.
