Full Name: Vince Noir
Fandom: POTO, original, other (specify)? The Mighty Boosh
Age: 22. *significant look at the audience*
Build: Rather skinny
Hair: Dark; "a basic back-comb structure, slightly root-boosted framing a cheeky fringe."
Eyes: Blue
Nationality: English
Job: Varies
Personality: Laid-back, permanently cheerful (except when given reason for his confidence to crumble), and somewhat narcissistic in a way that somehow nevertheless manages to be endearing. Vince has a tendency to flit from fad to fad and music style to music style (and usually finds a way of adding these to his already... improbable... fashion sense), and has a bizarre talent for being accepted by other members of whatever fad he's chasing this week. You know, at least until something happens that either makes them turn on him or he just gets bored and moves onto the next big thing. He has been part of a number of bands, usually as the frontman, a role which he insists he was born to fill. He also writes novellas, particularly about a mustachioed creature made of bubblegum named Charlie, which he distributes by hiding in products at the supermarket, and can talk to animals. In spite of his moving around in various genres all the time, he maintains a strong liking all the time for electronic music, glam rock, and the Rolling Stones. He is allergic to jazz.
Life Story (as much as you want us to know): Vince was orphaned as a child (though it's been shown he has an uncle who is a French duke) but raised in the forest by Bryan Ferry (no, really) until he was introduced to civilization and eventually went to work at a zoo called the Zooniverse (no, really), at the urging of his friend Howard, in spite of already having two BTEC National Diplomas (one in art and one in hair design). Hilarity ensued, including visits to Monkey Hell, the revelation that Charlie is real and more than happy to exact vengeance on people who wrong Vince in the form of a "Hubba Bubba nightmare", a romantic evening with a panda, getting flown to the Arctic by Gary Numan, talking to snakes, unleashing mutants, and a brief period stuck in Mr. Susan's Mirror World (no, really), among other things. After he and Howard started living in a flat together, more adventures took place (including Howard having to fend off the attentions of a Bailey's-drinking merman with a "mangina", a trip to the planet Xooberon, and falling afoul of the nightmarish Hitcher), after which they started working together in a secondhand shop. This lead to Vince's brief possession by the Spirit of Jazz (an affliction that rendered him unable to speak in anything but scat until he was rescued by Howard), an invasion by a potion-stealing Crack Fox, and making out with Howard to prevent his death (though nothing happened between them of that nature after that).
No, really.
At this point, the 'Verse may well prove to be unexciting as far as Vince is concerned.
